  1. Problem with the launcher after installing Redkit

    15.05.2013 @ 15:45

My game is already patched to 3.4 REDkit modders edition is also installed however there I a few problems I have now.

The first one is launcher is constantly downloading patches 3.2 3.2CU 3.3 and 3.4 already have 7 of them in downloads folder, but doesn't install anything. Takes a lot of free space
  2. Buying PC parts online

    09.04.2013 @ 14:31

I want to get a couple of Sapphire HD 7970 however the shop is somewhere in Holland and I'm far away from it. Don't know will my package be treated like some garbage and how it will survive the shipping from Holland to Iceland.

So before I place my order I want to know maybe someone of you bought something delicate and what your experience so far?
  3. Why witchers carry two swords and more?

    22.03.2013 @ 16:28

As the title states why witchers carry two swords? I know that steel is for beasts, humans and silver one is for monsters. But really one silver sword is enough for a witcher to have. I mean it doesn't matter if some animal or human is wounded by steel or silver so why not get rid of the steel sword and carry silver one which is useful for both monsters and humans. Witchers are mainly monster slayers so killing a few bandits with silver won't do it any harm

The second question is how silver swords are sharpened? If they are so fragile I believe grindstone cannot be used to sharpen them or else silver plating is seriously damaged and it becomes useless.

And the third question is why top end of a scabbard is made of metal? It makes this nice sound of metal grind metal when weapon is drawn or sheathed but thats it. I haven't seen anything in museums where real battle worn weapons are held. Furthermore it makes unnecessary noise which can reveal your position and it metal grinding against metal just makes blade blunt.
  4. Need help deciding which GPU

    25.02.2013 @ 14:08

So our local shop is selling old stuff for low prices but without a warranty. One of the things that attracted my attention was Gigabyte GTX 295 for 50 euros, I believe it cheap.

Right now I have 2 GTX 465 and I can't decide is a pair of GTX 295 is a worthy upgrade or not. After all its a directx 10 GPU and my is directx 11.

Any suggesions? Is it worth buying it?

    Thank you for attention
