Topics I've Started
01.11.2013 @ 16:45hey all. it's been quite some time i've not been here. recently saw some screenshots.. it looks like the motion blur is too heavily overused? i'm not big fan of motion blur but i don't mind if it was used right.
28.02.2013 @ 16:52Read somewhere that the average playtime for Witcher 3 is just 50 hours. Does anyone think it's just too short? I remembered when Witcher 2 first released CDPR said it's 40hours long for one playthrough.
Then reviews start churning out that the game is only 15hours long. I'm not trying to be negative but I think 50hours (could be after multiple playthroughs).. is alittle short for an Open-World RPG?
26.02.2013 @ 14:41I came across this video of hair physics. My jaw officially dropped. Would really be nice if i can see Geralt/Triss/Yennefer hair as realistic as this:
12.02.2013 @ 14:36Hey all. Just found a new article over VG247.
Not sure if it has been posted but apologize if it has. One highlight and main concern here is that how does CDPR define better than Skyrim & Dragon Age? To me Witcher series is a different tier or category of RPGs where it has difficult choices and is catered for mature audience (i'm talking about rape(Ves), torture (Philippa's eye ripped off), etc.).
If CDPR is comparing to themselves to Skyrim and Dragon Age then i would say i'm a little disappointed. They have been CONSISTENTLY mentioning about making it more accessible to more audiences (hence more sales).
And that means casualizing (means the content will be toned down and probably catered for kids?). I really HOPE i'm being proven wrong though. But time will tell if TW3 is staying true to it's core roots.
11.02.2013 @ 16:45I'm not sure about the end of Witcher series and the fate of Geralt (I didn't read any books). Not sure if the franchise allow or is Geralt going to end up the SAME fate as Shepard?
Due to that ME3 had a huge backlash (bad ending) and your choices doesn't matter. Perhaps what Bioware did was INTENTIONAL to gather popularity by having such a controversial ending.
So will Geralt or the franchise dictates dies in the trilogy? I'm not sure if i'm not gonna like it because all your hard effort just vanished (At least Farcry 3 have 2 choices and not forced at the end).
