Doesn't TW2 have native support for a controller? Or is that only for certain controllers (such as the Xbox 360 controller)?

Have you played an FCR-modded version of TW1? Trust me, Flash is not one to make god mods. :vava:
  3. In Topic: The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings Ultimate Soundtrack - Fan-Edit w/ 57 Total Songs

This is very cool, but I've no idea why someone who obviously cares about music chooses to make this in 128kpbs MP3-format. The MP3-format itself is alright (I'm not one of those who complains about it in itself), but the bitrate... :/

I've been very content with this unofficial and extended version of the soundtrack, so far (it feels very complete), but I'm also intrigued by your vision and the changes you have made, since you've made sure to pay attention to the chronological order of the tracks, for example, and that's a good thing. I also approve of the changes made to the titles.
  4. In Topic: Favourite soundtrack!

    17.05.2013 @ 20:29

While there are many good soundtracks out there, there are not as many that also work outside the medium its being used for. Some music is simply brilliant in its context, but end up feeling a bit tame if you listen to it without the visuals that come along with it. That being said, there are some soundtracks that are amazing even if on listened to on their own. My favourite game soundtrack is without a doubt the one for Final Fantasy IX. It's a massive soundtrack (over 140 tracks, or 5 hours and 27 minutes of music - Nobuo Uematsu's magnum opus, I dare say) which manages to be near-flawless from beginning to end; every single track is a true joy to listen to it both in-game and otherwise. The Final Fantasy series has always had great music, but the ninth instalment is the only one that has a soundtrack without any bad or even somewhat mediocre moments to it. A true masterpiece, in my opinion.

When we get to movie soundtracks or film scores, I also have an obvious winner among my favourites. The best film score I have ever heard belongs to The Fountain. Much like the visuals of the film itself, its soundtrack is unbelievably evocative and haunting. It was composed by Clint Mansell and performed by Mogwai and The Kronos Quartet - I can scarcely think of a more tantalizing collection of artistic minds.

  5. In Topic: Dark Mode Damage/Armor Problem

    17.05.2013 @ 16:27

That's really weird. With no potions active and only the basic starting equipment equipped, there's no way your stats should be this high. It's not only the damage, but the resistances and critical effects as well, that look... wrong. I've never bothered checking my stats during the Prologue; maybe it's something CDPR added at some point in order to make it easier? Sounds unlikely. I'll have to take a look at this myself. I'll be back in a bit to tell you if the same thing happens to me.

Edit: No surprises there. I checked different difficulty levels (with focus on Dark) and different stages of the Prologue, but my stats remained the same throughout. Damage, armor value, resistances, critical effects... all of them were as they are supposed to be. I can't think of anything that has triggered what has happened to you, other than an errant mod somewhere. You only have cosmetic mods installed at the moment, but are you certain that you didn't - at some point - have other mods installed as well? There might be something left over that you've missed while uninstalling. If this is not the case... then I'm stumped. Maybe it's some rare(ish) glitch of some sort, that you've encountered. :/

It's nice to see you here again!
Oh, by the way, you might be hearing from the Ifirt guys. One of them asked me to recommend some smart people who were into TW2 who might be interested in joining their team. I told him that both you and Delightful McCoy had made mods for TW2 and would be worthy additions to their team.

Hi Kindo, hope you're doing well. I wanted to say thanks for the CEO mod, it's good and stable. Just a small issue I'm having with it though. The rebalancing you've done with the items made the prologue way too easy. I'm dealing an absurd amount of damage with the starting weapons. Maybe I'm wrong but just wanted you input. thanks and looking forward to the official modt...

I don't know if you're interested in/willing to do this. But if you are, I'd love to have you in my game: http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/31503-i-want-your-face-for-a-game-im-making/page__view__findpost__p__843892

You haven't been around in awhile -- are you all right? I hope you're just on vacation or something. I'm not here much, myself, but even on the brief periods when I duck in, I miss you when you're not here.

Oooh, which author does A. share a birthday with?
She and I have so many tastes in common that I imagine I either already love that author or will be thrilled to learn of him or her.

I friended you a long time ago, actually, but the forum software is doing something weird with friends lists once they're in excess of a certain number. Since I'm blue, I let anyone friend me who wants to -- it would be sticky otherwise -- so I have more friends than the forum software can handle, apparently.

Hey, I stopped by your profile for another reason and caught sight of your birth date. Were you really born March 24, 1985? I ask because I was born March 24, 1958 -- not only do we have the same birthday, but just reverse the last two digits of one year to get the other. Cool!

The forum software wouldn't let me reply to your PM (forum software is broken -- imagine that ;) ) -- so I've sent you e-mail.

Just had this idea of mine, panning to make a banner to be add in my signature to celebrate your marriage. Posted the same on DMcCoy's page. But I need your permission to use your pics of the wedding and if you could also tell me please.... do you have any particular request to be added in the banner?
