Topics I've Started

  1. Gaspar and Farid's potion they give you in Flotsam

    20.10.2012 @ 21:32

Hi all. These two you meet in Flotsam and they give you something for you to take as an experiment. It's just a bonus mutagen if I recall. But their narrative says that the results won't tell for many years.
Then I finally got around to playing a second time, this time with Iorveth. At the end of Vergen, in the book you find in Philippa's quarters is the book of poisons. In that narrative, it says something about time-delayed poisons that slowly over the years weakens the victim until he dies.
I doubt the designers have that in mind for players in future sequel that took their 'experiment', but when I linked those two things, I had a moment of "D'oh!"
  2. Just started Ch 2 in W2 EE, noticed they changed the comet

    01.06.2012 @ 00:23

If I recall, the original version showed a comet that was really small. There was a forum discussion on whether it looked like a jet trail. In the EE version, it's much bigger and looks like a comet should.
  3. Iorveth mentions about someone in the east who is worthy of being a king...

    29.05.2012 @ 20:52

After the fight with the arachas, during the talk between Geralt and Iorveth, Geralt asked why kill the kings, Iorveth says something about both kings are bad, but that there was one in the east who was worthy of being a king. He couldn't have meant Henselt. Who was he talking about?
    Thanks for any replies.
