To tell the truth, I didn't really like the armor sets in The Witcher 2, they all looked like each other to me... I hope they'll make better armor in The Witcher 3! ›››

Huh? really? Than I would say your eyes are strange. You played Witchter 1? 3 Armors for 5 Acts....

I dunno what looks best because I played most of the time with armors I can grab from the ground and I played against the last enemies without a torso armor. I would say the best armor who fits Gerald would be a leather torso armor with some light metal armor plates. And for the rest of the body just some strong leather clothes and gauntlets.

Yah right I finished the game without armor, just with the Swords. I think the Armor would be helped me much for the Dragon thing.
Next time I play this I just buy mighty Swords or the schematics for it.

If you're dying too much then perhaps Dark Mode wasn't the best option to start with.

Geralt receives 200% damage when attacked from behind, which can be reduced to 100% with a talent from the swordsman tree. Still, you will die fairly often and easily if you get surrounded. That's how it should be. Noone can possibly survive a sword stab to the chest, even less multiple stabs :P/>/>/>/>/>

About "health" potions, I suppose you mean Swallow. Swallow, as the in-game description says, increases vitality regeneration. It is not an instant healing potion, like White Raffard's Decoction.

You can increase your damage resistance by using better armor and by unlocking certain talents. You can also protect yourself with the sign Quen. Additionally, you can avoid being hit :)/>/>/>/>/> ›››

First question to you , do you read what I write? Ya I mean the Swallow but I don't noticed health regeneration like I say it looks like it only get my toxic level up and nothing else. Look at the first Witcher there was the potion working right. Sure it must be weak but I cant notice the potion at all and thats without a combat situation.
Realistic would be dead with one good hit and no potion could help you but otherwise it would be also real that you could insta kill any human/elf/dwarf and maybe some monsters.
The other thing is it is not about the Mode. When it was this Hard I would quit the game but I am in the last Act so ? I know that I can reduce the damage from behind but thats a talent what I think it is a waste because you are dead anyway when you don't learn to roll over the ground all the time.

I can just walk naked and the only thing what is different is that I don't have resistance in magic, bleeding etc. Dead also with 3-4 hits.
What I say is that both things are just no use in this mode, I don't know how it is for the other modes.

Are you using the in-game antialiasing (because of the granular look that the textures have in your "not ubersampled" screens it seems so)?

Then try this; turn off the in-game antialiasing and then force MLAA through your graphic card drivers. The dithering effect is worsen by the sharpen filter that the ingame antialiasing applies also, textures are distorted by this filter (just take a look at Geralt's face or Letho's beard with and without antialiasing). ›››

Nice this also looks like ubasampling without draining the fps how ubasampling it does. But I see the shadows also, not much but they are there.

Still massive CTD, second act and I get all the time CTDs. Most of the time while I browse a store or my own chest. Any ideas?
