I think the best way to combat piracy is not just offer a DRM-Free experience, but rather give incentives for people to go out and actually buy the game. Make a great game and add in a few goodies, maybe a free soundtrack or simple artbook included. I know it seems small, but a lot people actually love that stuff.

I think Steam is pretty good, though as Costin said, their regular pricing tends to be higher than retail. What Steam does best though is offering a solid service with great sales.

I recently finished Mark Of The Ninja. It's a 2D Side-scrolling stealth game by Klei Entertainment (Shank & Shank 2). I absolutely loved it! One of my favorite games of the year so far. I wrote a review on it, if anyone is interested, here: http://hyunickel.wor...e-ninja-review/

It's on XBL Arcade as well as Steam so be sure to check it out if you like stealth titles.

I have to wait till the PC release to try this one out. But the cities in AC are indeed gorgeous.

I think with cyberpunk specifically, which is slated to be completely open-world, CD Projket should definitely make the cities feel more alive and filled with things to do. I'm confident in their direction either ways.
