In one of the previews they said that Geralt just walks towards the boat, you press one button and you're in so I don't think it's gonna get more complicated than this.
Boats should be there for fun. ›››
I cannot accept this unless a logical clarification based on world where Geralt lives. As far as I know; Nobody wants to make a boat and leave at the harbor for free to use... Especially, a period during which a war is in progress.
Boats should be there for fun; It is true from our perspective but from Geralt's perspective will be mostly for transporting.

That's just it.
Either you can take it with you or you can't and should have to deal with it. Having a magical horse with no reasonable explanation for it being right beside you at so much as a whistle is just a blatant cop out.
Geralt might find another horse in them isles though. ›››

I don't wanna believe this!

Yeah, Geralt shouldn't carry ten swords and five armors in his inventory at the same time. (He's not a Chuck Norris).
About horned helmets; It reminds me Skyrim in my subconscious level and that's why I don't like it, I guess...
On the other hand; this image could be just a marketing strategy, Geralt fights against the "Dragonborn" for better, realistic and true RPG experience...
