Topics I've Started
09.11.2013 @ 20:51After all the threads concerning the beginning of CD Projekt and the future of CD Projekt lately I decided to remind you guys how awesome the very first screenshot of The Witcher looked like in 2004.
10.07.2013 @ 17:29So we know, The Witcher 2 had some ridicolous price rates for used items.
You purchased a sword for 300 orens and the next moment this very item loses 90% of it's value. You get 30 orens from the merchant for selling it back. What a rip off. I don't remember the exact percent number, but it was pretty high.
What do you think? What rate would be appropriate, considering the player can find a lot of loot and stuff in treasures. Keep in mind that if the rate is too low, the player gets too rich and the game will be unbalanced.
I think it is realistic, if every merchant differs from another, so they also offer different rates. But again, the difference shouldn't be too big, so Geralt doesn't go shopping at the same place every time. Of course this can also be avoided by giving specific merchants, specific goods and unique items.
18.06.2013 @ 18:55Based on your knowledge and the info from both the books and the games, who would win in a war where everyone fights against everyone. Give reasons.
And then, just for fun, give your favorite realm a sports team name! For example: Temerian Bruxae or Redanian Werewolfes.

The war between Nvidia and AMD for exclusive game deals is starting to get annoying. As a Nvidia user i guess i am lucky this time, but i feel sorry for all the AMD users.
One thing for sure though: That wolfs hair looks awesome. Imagine how Geralts hair will loke like.
29.05.2013 @ 16:17You may know Pawel. He is a polish musician and composer. He works at Techland, but he was also working with CDPR and Adam Skorupa on The Witcher Soundtrack.
I must honestly say that i think his work gave the first Witcher game its unique and beautiful touch. He intensly uses sounds of flutes, i think. I can clearly hear his style also in the Call of Juarez Soundtrack.
If you take away the guitar sound, this would fit into The Witcher game. Though i can not identify the instruments he uses. Maybe computer pitched? />
I love his work and hoped maybe he could return for the Soundtrack of The Witcher 3, since the devs already said that the music will be more like in the first one. Anyone agree?
