Topics I've Started
16.09.2013 @ 10:58Hey everyone, I finished reading the not-so-newly translated Time of Contempt and I had several questions about stuff I didn't understand or might've missed so firstly -
When Ciri is in the "frying pan", she draws Force from a small fire she lit and I didn't get what is wrong with that because I might have missed or forgot the explanation for that in the previous books... I mean, she has Falka's blood and Falka was burned at the stake so that's why it was dangerous?
Also after that, some unnamed observers discuss between themselves whether to terminate her or not for drawing Force from the fire... Who are they ? + Did she really lose her power when she gave up on the fire ?
And just out of curiosity, what did you think of the love scene in the end between Ciri and Mistle... I thought it was forced yet ironic since Mistle acted the same way the guy before her did.
