23.07.2013 @ 17:27At first, it seemed that Witcher 3 will end the series. But after interviews from E3 it seems that CDPR considers making more games from the universe, just not with Geralt as main character.
Do you want more Witcher games or should CDPR focus on something new?
Personally, I like that CDPR is adapting books and table-top RPGs. There is so much of those that in my eyes it would be a shame to focus on one IP for so long. I´d like to see CDPR doing something completely new after Witcher 3. Since Cyberpunk is gonna be futuristic, their next game could be another fantasy... or Dune. Or something completely different/obscure. I just wouldn´t be able get excited about Witcher 4.
Also I like when some game series is finished at a high note and there is no possibility of disappointing sequel. I´d love Witcher series to be remembered as great trilogy.
So what are your thoughts?
09.02.2013 @ 01:25How do you think, is CDPR gonna solve open world? There will be no loading screens, so no cuts from one section of map to another. But according to map, Skellige and Novigrad are pretty far from each other and there is plenty of other locations in between like you can see in this picture.
Do you think they will include these cities in between as well as Brokilon? Considering that map is supposed to be only 20% bigger than Skyrim, which isnt that much in global scale, how do you think is game world gonna look and what we get to see? Will CDPR just "alter" the world, so Skellige and Novigrad will be closer? I mean, from this map, it looks like if they wanted to include everything, devs would need to have map of size of Just Cause 2 at least.
