What about those of us who still communicate with friends using carrier pigeons? I've lost too many friendships to malnourished birds to suffer the bitter sting of that suddenly not being a viable means of communication.

But seriously, I wonder if those of you using those websites have ever seen stuff like this.

Finished Red Faction: Armageddon recently. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it overall, though the difficulty was all over the place; most parts were a cakewalk, while there were other occasions when things got quite a bit more difficult, only to go back to being a cakewalk soon after. That magnet gun was every bit as fun as the gravity gun in Half Life 2, though. There's nothing quite like ripping a wall off of a building and killing your enemy with it.

One thing really bothered me, though:

That freaking kiss with Kara. Why the hell would you have a tender moment in the middle of a dangerous area after being told that enemies are watching you? It's just stupid, and it was a cheap way of killing off Kara to try and make the end of the game all emotional and stuff. They could have gone inside the BIG SHIELDED ROBOT THAT THEY JUST FIXED and THEN KISSED. There are simply no words for how stupid that moment was.

The question pretty much boils down to "would you blindly buy a theoretical port of games you've probably already played for a system that little is actually known about, all for an unknown price?"

I'd say that most sane individuals who don't have access to Batman-ish reserves of cash would initially say no, with whether they end up with the system or that theoretical port almost entirely dependent on a number of those details. This doesn't exactly strike me as the "blindly buy things solely on the name" crowd.

If you're talking about The Twin Snakes, then I love you right now. For everyone else: Twin Snakes is a perfect example of why remakes are bad, bad, bad. Here's the same cutscene in both games:

Notice the difference? It's like they went, "We need to make Snake approximately 200% more badass!" The game isn't supposed to revolve around him being a badass, though; it's supposed to be claustrophobic and feel like the odds are firmly stacked against him, with his character being exceptional but still having very human limitations. No borderline-ninja senses like they added.

Remakes suck. Slightly changed and bettered versions that are released relatively soon after the original game are almost always welcome (like the better camera in Metal Gear 3: Subsistence, and the changes in the EE for TW2), but someone coming along long after the game's virtues and failings have become set in stone over time and changing things will never cease to rub me the wrong way.

Doesn't TML take place midway through the core game time-wise? Not sure how they could follow that.

Dear Sir, I regret to inform you that I'm still not playing Planescape: Torment buuuuut I bought it and will play it in the near future, I promise. I'll keep you posted.
Thief will get a lot easier once you get used to it or find the little bugs you can exploit. ; ) I used to give up and had to return to it several times because I sucked so bad...

I never really left i have been here all along :) Every morning i see what is going on and every evening before i go to sleep i open this page to see what is happening in the Witcher world :)
Witcher series will ALWAYS be my nr:1 choice when it comes to games. Most ppl in the swtor have never even heard of this game so i educate them :D
