19.03.2013 @ 15:39We reverted the changes that caused problems after March the 11th redists' system update on Steam and the today's download contains the redists for the game. They are to be found in (...)\Steam\steamapps\common\the witcher 2\redist\. The update causes redists to reinstall and the required registry entries for them and the game to be created.
19.03.2013 @ 14:54Keep in mind that the suggested User.ini settings set the spec to Ultra which will be very harsh on some GPUs. While I don't have a repro for this issue I imagine that once it occurs it would be enough to make sure that these 3 are set to 0:
And to avoid a major FPS drop set Ubersampling to 0:
19.03.2013 @ 10:48Sometimes GPU overclocks and factory overclocks cause this kind of visual artifacts. This particular issue seems to occur most often on Radeons 69xx series.
If your GPU is indeed overclocked I'd recommend clocking it down to reference values. Remember that whenever you overclock a component you do it on your own responsibility. Making sure your graphics card is not overheating could also be helpful. Some users claim adding voltage in CCC may also help.

Costin Moroianu said:Meh. I wouldn't praise them for adding a patch for all PC versions containing two buffs to abilities that make them even more powerful then they were ( overpowered some would say considering we are talking of aard and Quen here ) and thus screwing the fragile balance they have in the game. ›››
The modified signs don't work in the arena and if they get activated in the campaign and you dislike them for whatever reason you can easily switch them off in DLC Settings in Options in the Launcher.

This content is available on Steam as well. Right-click The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition in Steam Library, open Properties, then Language tab. Select what you need and it will be downloaded. The Brazilian subtitles pack and the Korean one are 4GB in size each on Steam.
