The 'Mysterious Tower' quest challenges you to collect the 10 sephirot. Many young Witchers in our fourm struggle to get them because they spoil the relationship with those NPCs who possess these valuable stones. You are not lost because there are valuable walkthroughs how to gain the Sephirot.

All you have to do is read the following advices:

Good luck!

If you still have problems because you got stuck somewhere, tell us here in this Sephirot thread and you will get help  ;)

I can see what you see not, Visions milky then eyes rot.
When you turn they will be gone, whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be, shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind – cast down into the Halls of the Blind…

I wish too,
but unfortunatly I'm not sure aboiut that because there are people who don't like the "research" option in the forum at all and prefer to open a new post............. :-\
my first time playing i was stuck in kethaar searching too, but i read the forum before opening useless new topics.......i tried to help people even receiving their savegames and bringing Geralt to discover all he needs to find the last sephiroth, but i cannot help EVERY SINGLE PLAYER who has trouble in that.
So,let's hope this time.............i think that kethaar quest is little bit difficult but not impossible like Monkey Island playing......................wow it reminds me a lot of fun I had...............I still love Monkey Island :D
cheers

Whether you're friends with the order or the nonhumans, you'll have a blacksmith that you can pay to make the lightning rod.

Go to the blacksmith in the nonhuman district and order the lightning rod from him. The Order will not deal with you anymore because you've helped nonhumans.

The nonhuman district is the area where you see Dwarfs and She-Elves roaming about. Have you explored all of the Temple Quarter?

I finished with 50,000 orens by earning 42,000+ orens throughout the game and then adding the 8,000 orens that Foltest awards for killing the GM. Kill loads of creatures, sell white vinegar and Gnat's Acid, etc, to Kalkstein, the Healer, Abigail, and so on. Fight a lot, gamble a lot, and just live like I do in normal life for the most part. ;)

Chapter II is probably the longest of the game if you find all the quests, so don't rush it because you can get a lot of XP's. The final scene is a bit strange because you can't "win" it really, you can only survive it. Be ready with some potions and oils and you shouldn't have a problem.

Finding and finishing all the quests in each chapter brings you a lot of loot. There are side quests that you won't even know about unless you try talking to every NPC you encounter, so I always work on side quests before main quests so as not to finish a chapter prematurely. In the early chapters you should definitely loot every house, and sell your excess to merchants. Also, you can do things like taking 1 oren food items to the Gardener and asking him to tell you about his mercenary days. He'll ask for food. Give him a 1 oren item and ask him for roses in exchange. You'll get 6 orens for the rose instead of 1 oren if you sold it as food. Additionally, when you first exited the sewers you should have gotten a quest from the con man to get a ring back from the crypt in the sewers. You can go in the crypt and kill everything, take all the loot then exit the sewers about 6:30 AM while the area is still marked dangerous. Give the ring to the con man to complete the quest, then kill him and take back the ring and sell it. It's not nice, but making lots of money means being a bit cutthroat. Weapons are a good source of income, so loot a couple, then take them to Thaler the fence any time of day or night and get orens for them. Each torch is 40 orens, for instance. You can loot the Order Outpost for lots of weapons and books. Sell every book that you get as soon as you've read it. Once you've read it, it goes into your glossary, so there is no reason to keep it. Anyway, those are a few ideas, hope they help.

At the blacksmith's place you will need to talk to the actual blacksmith and not his helper. There should be a dialog option for ordering the lightning rod. As with all NPCs, make sure you check all dialog options as some are more than one layer deep. Order the rod, then leave and come right back to purchase it.

I have talked to the Blacksmith and they one thing that shows to the dialog is "show me your wares" but when I click this he told me to go to another dwarf.
What is going on?
Have I done anything wrong?

Did the dwarfen blacksmith mentioned Zoltan Chivay when you talked to him? Zoltan gives you a recommendation which the blacksmith refers to. You get the recommendation from Zoltan when you finished "A memory of a blade".

O.k I found the lighting rod and I have defeated the golem.
Now I must go to the Tower to meet the detective. Is he going to give me the last sephirot?
One more thing...
I have so many things in my inventory. How can I sell some of them?

Selling stuff is easy go visit the merchants near Shani's house.

The last Sephirot is on Raymond's corpse in the cemetery crypt or has been given to you by fake Raymond. This depends on whether you have accused Kalkstein of being the murderer or used your brain and worked out its a wind up.
The difference between a circus and a brothel??

One is full of cunning stunts, the other......

Are you sure that I can sell things to the merchants near Shani's house?
What things can I sell to the merchants?
I have some books that I can't carry them anymore.
I must collect more orens.
