Added Bare (Without Pubic Hair) Texture Paks.

Since this seems abandoned (last activity August 2009) I fixed the problem (breaked Naiad texture in the EE version) formyself and I though to sharing it. I hope Felldude doesn't mind

Here's the fix: http://www.mediafire.com/?jmyzzafgimv just replace the old files of this mod with these.

I can only say : Another great work by Felldude !

Edit : note > no *.mdb file in Naid zip file. only textures, but as she is nude all the time, I guess it's logical (you specified to extract meshes too in your readme)

Nerf, can't download the Lady of the Lake .. closed tab by error, now "I've reached my download limit for free users" (I know, I know .. wait 2 minutes)

rapidshare su ... ( hmmm ok here in France, we got that magic ISP that provides every customer with 10Gb for webspace for personal pages (but mainly used for storage ^^)

There is no *.mdb file required as you said, for the dryad. The mention of a mesh file in the readme.txt is a carry over from the Lady of the Lake readme.txt.

A side affect of ctrl+c - ctrl+v.

I will go ahead and post a link for those who wish to download all of the files as a package, looks to be about 19Megs 30Megs with the Naiad update.

Did you end up hexing it, or does it actually call for a separate skin?

Aaah last comment (else, again, Felldude's works is just perfect)

In Witcher's Books, seems that basically, Dryads are small sized. Not she-dwarves, but smaller than humans, in general. Guess there is no way to reduce size of the model, unless diving into deep 3D modeling :|

Nice job, I love it!
;D ;D ;D

To Felldude:
One suggestion for lady of the lake ---
Can you use the original lady's curved hair (avoid sensitive spot) instead of dryad's hair ?
Curved hair is more beautiful for her.

I used K-GFF editor on  the naiad_q1_1.utc, changing the code that it called for in the apperance.2da file.
Label="Appearance_Type"
Value="650"

The in the apperance.2da file under the code I called for 650 (The line was blank before) I added a new model file.

The "new" model file was the hex edited dryad model file (Hex edited what textures where called for and so forth).

So while it didnt use a seperate skin before it is possible to replace a charecter with a shared model file, with a new model.

This might be possible, that is calling for a head that is on a different model file. However, I haven't found a method for accomplishing this yet.

It is possible by alltering the SCALE catagory in the appearance.2da file, to **% of the origanal scale. I have included a download link of the file above.

Jayzus, you folks are like gangbusters with this stuff.

I've just barely got the DDS files to open in Adobe PS and have muddled through some basic looks at the colors and bump types as Xhan went into great detail in the nude thread; and been playin' with the ATI Compressonator.  I can't for the life of me fully nail bump mapping yet, but I am going to test out some alterations since you all got the groundwork laid out.

This is going to make working with the SDK so much simpler as I am learning all the file types, what calls what and ways to change them.  I may be able to add some things to the textures for more detail and trimmings soon but I really want to work on that head model's hair, UGH, the rake-like thing in front just ruins it.

Check the normal map section here.. There's also a write up on the compressonator.

Nice work Felldude! One small though though (and I don't know if others will agree with me): how about making a version without pubic hair? IMO fairy folk were hairless in those areas  ;D

Woot : Did you do this for me ? (I'm proud  ;D ), great work, again. Gonna use it; of course.

Edit : fine, very fine. Now I can feel as in the books a bit more :)

I have a "Bare" package up, for any (I believe it to be quite a few) who agree with Zahratustra about the body hair-less-ness. (I added the bare textures to the poll as well, and reset the stats)

Well I don't have all my g/f's shave for nothin'.  Nor would I have found out what depilation was either had I not asked her that one time. Matter of fact I think the best way to handle the Naiad for pubic hair is as the Dryad bright and bumped level but blue, if at all.  Thanks for the new option you guys.

I still want to add a nice little few touches (head hair for all 3, water-like tattooing around mid-section for Naiad and the original lady of lake head for the Lady) but amazing canvas to work with, FINALLY.

Question, I downloaded the Dryaid texture(the one that is suppose to affect Morheen, but my model is still covered up.  Her breasts are covered by her hair and i have some funky thing that is obscurring her Pubic region from sight(I have the American version of the game).  Is there some way to get these items out of the way?

It may be just me...

Adults have pubic hair, children don't. Wanting the characters not to have pubic hair seems a little like paedophilia. It's a matter of taste I suppose, but I find there something decidedly icky in the 'no pubic hair' thing.

I beleive somewhere along the way it became a trait of elvish creatures to have limited or no body hair. Just like the pointy eaired thing.

Now as to the link between the lack of body hair and what you mentioned, you will have to take that up with all the people that get brazilian waxes...or shave.

It seems to be a pretty common feature in any fantasy fiction where the issue comes up that elvish/fae races tend to lack body hair.

As for lack of pubic hair being pedophiliac, I'd disagree, and in fact older women could use a shave or wax for aesthetic and practical reasons. The first time you get a pubic hair caught in the back of your throat, you'd agree. (Hah! Who's afraid of too much information?)

Back on topic, there seems to be a problem with the .2da files in the Naiad pack. Whenever they're installed, other meshes disappear, such as the Reverend, Jethro, and the silver sword.
