yeh im one, an idiot, and i killed the scribe, he wasnt workin fast enough ppl were complaining so i tought ill help the situation by dividing his ass with my sword.. anyway i kinda need him for a Quest now ;D
anyone know how to let him respawn? somewhere in the dev console? anyone know how to open it?

Maybe go back to a pre-saved spot and continue your game. Might be a fitting punishment...after all, there's only one scribe. Is that his fault he's underpaid and overworked and there's no help?

Please check the forums before you start a new topic. We have an extra section for Story & Quests which is seperated into each Act of the game. Your thread should be created in "Act III" forum

In the trade quarter, inside Town Hall(where you get to fuck the clerks), i found it funny that i could draw my sword at 5pm and kill anyone that is not green, including the scribe who gives the cockatrice contract quest.
Possibly a bug ?

Safe places are indicated as "dangerous" at night beginning in the evening. Inside a building all places should be indicated as "safe" irrespective of the time. The town hall is part of Gold Rush which makes the town hall as a dangerous place. But as you are in the town hall not during 'Gold rush' I guess... it's a minor bug.

i just wonder how else would you turn in the quest if you killed the scribe who gives the cockttrice quest.

Absolutely correct... if you kill the scribe on one else will give you the quest. You shouldn't kill everybody and after that looking for a conversation ^__^
