Who is The Wild Hunt???

The first time I met The Wild Hunt it said to me we met AGAIN. But when? I havent read the origenal novel so can anyone tell me about this Disgusting Hunt. It was the boss before I kill Grand Master too, but I doubt its identity.
And When I was quested "the destiny is a two-edged-sword, one is me, the other is..." I tried the three options each once,
1.death. lead to fight with the wreth of Leo
2.there is no destiny. and then No again, the Wild Hunt will dispear and Leo do not appear.
3.the last one still lead to Leo
what do these mean??? I cant get any sense of it???

You will meet the Wild Hunt once again in Act IV, a side quest but you don't have a dialogue option and in the epilogue. There you get much more information and it's up to you to draw conclusions from it.

I can see what you see not, Visions milky then eyes rot.
When you turn they will be gone, whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be, shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind – cast down into the Halls of the Blind…
