I've gone the Order route so i'm supposed tobe finding St Gregory's Litany. Unfortunately I was stupid and tried the wrong wayfarer stone. As dumb luck would have it I stumbled on the right combination and ended up with the magic instructions (neutral alignment). Now the game won't let me go into st gregory's tomb and it won't let me have the armour made by Kalkstein either. Is there a console command to reset this portion of the quest or a code to spawn the item. otherwise i'm going to have to hope i've got a save.
Edit: Actually it seems not to be caused by that it's just that the wayfaraer stones aren't working at all. i reverted to an earlier save and tried it and no dice, on any of them. I'm in the striga pit and i've tried casting aard, aard, igni about 100 times to no avail.

Thanks for the help guys. It was aard, aard, igni that got it to work but it was extremely tiresome and finicky to get right. The 101st attempt was the charm and I must've caught it from the right angle at last because I ended up in St Gregory's tomb. I'm now decked out in my fancy pants new armour and smiting the mutants.
I do think the detection of spells needs to be looked at. This was far too fiddly and i'm sure a lot of other people would have just said "screw this" and quit.

three different wayfarer stones, three different combinations, but they are the same regardless of the path you choose
check out SpaceMonkey and read the Witcher wiki, darnit! ET je suis capable de m'exprimer en français pour nos francophones!

I don't think there's any timing in that. I tried firing off all three spells in a quick succession, and casting them one by one as I waited for my endurance to recharge inbetween. I was always standing fairly close to the stone (but not exactly hugging it either), and casting the spells directly at it. It never failed me.
