Definitely don't stop submitting your work to potentially interested parties -- someone is bound to recognize your talent. i'm sure that you can (at least some day) turn it into something that earns you some money in addition to the satisfaction of just being able to do it :)

I really envy your talent. I can only copy .. i really can't come up with original stuff
