After fooling around with the game's data files, I pulled out the descriptions of the buffs you get at the ice plains and they are
1- Lightning Storm: Chance of causing additional Damage to target ( You get that from Triss)
2- Soulcatcher: Restores Vitality with each opponent killed ( You get this from Celina)
3- Fiery Swords: Additional fire damage ( I don't know who gives you this)
If anyone one could provide me with savegames for the second two that would be great, and if anyone has any idea on how to activate these effects by any other means please share your info :)

[EPILOGUE] Ice Plains buffs

Never noticed these effects, and I didn't need them in the slightest either. I drank a swallow and a full moon (or however that potion that doubles your hit points is called) before I entered the Grand Master's room. Potion effects last days in the icy plains, so extra vitality restoration wasn't really necessary.
And by then my weapons were so awesome and my sword skills so developed I didn't need any combat buffs to kick arse either. :D

Just a little correction here, after my second playthrough on Hard mode (supporting the order this time) it seems the buff you get from White Rayla is also Soulcatcher (exactly like the one you get from Celina)
And on a side note for those having trouble with the Wreath of Immortelles; where Celina just took it and remained in the fields and nothing happened, you should try convicting Adam by telling Julian that he killed Celina and not cover up for him ;) that worked for me in the second playthrough and Celina disappeared into the ground with a flash of light just like Alina

Ok, now i am annoyed! I met Triss and then i met Abigail. I moved on a bit and then there was a cut scene. Now, whichever way i go i die, suddenly just die. I have tried everything i know and there is no way out of it. So, what the hell is this? What am i supposed to do?
That sounds like a glitch to me. Try restoring from an earlier save.

I started over again, just before i meet Abigail. According to the quest path this is what is supposed to happen:
Phase 3. Anthropoids
Three Skullheads await you ahead. Abigail (M42.4) tells you that they are what remains of mankind now. She gives you 5 swallows.
Phase 4. A Conversation with the Master
Another three Skullheads to fight and another conversation with Jacob (M42.5). A wraith attacks you in the stone corridor.
- I never meet any Wraith. Instead i am sent back to the cloister front door, the icy entrance we started by, after the conversation with the grand master. If i try to move forward i die.
Anyone have any idea what causes this glitch?

Alright.. restarted the whole ice plains quest... and finished it. Seems to be some random glitch.
Anyway, now i am a bit :o ..... Who the heck was it that tried to kill the king at the end? His face was familiar, but i cant make sense of who it was. Id really like to know, if anyone knows :)

No one knows, but there's a LOT of speculation! Check this thread for just about every possible theory, then add your own ideas.
