because my game crashes on every third save, autosaves are a curse for me, so how do I disable the buggers?

You can't.

Maybe you should focus on fixing that crash problem. Are all of your drivers up to date? Sometimes drivers you don't expect to be a factor can cause problems. I had crashing problems with Two Worlds until I updated my sound drivers.

all of the drivers are up to date, i have the hotfix, i'm on admin, i've tried with both version 1.1 AND 1.2 , i've tried reinstall twice, i'm playing the game on 1024x768 and my computer goes beyond all of the recommended requirements. I can't think of anything else to do, I suppose I have to wait and hope that they have a fix in their next patch. :'(

Do you have enough free space on your Windows partition, and is your pagefile at least 2 gigs (with expansion to 3 possible) in size?

It happens the same thing to me-(
Game craches on third or fourth autosave, I really do not understand how developpers forgot  to add the ciaochoice of manual saves only..
Apart from that everything seems to be fine and when I save my self it never crashes..

ciao

I can play Crysis without problems either, and Witcher crashes at every turn (well maybe not that much, but you get the idea).
