i'm not an english version player, so i don't know some special names
after  the boss of the cavern dead, we can find a key from his ‘body’, and than i get to the certain place, where the story can truely go on.  first kill 2 men, and then get into a house. the moment we getting, we must fight 4 men.
yeah i think you can understand, which step i'm in now
and then we go down into a cave from a secret entrance in the house. and take 4 men.  after that comes the special child, and tell me that one part of the cave seems easy to go through. and follow him.  and i know too, that i should use the magic--Arad,the first magic i learned in the chapter prologue. but it's really a disaster to me that the magic arad doesn't work!!!! i swear that in the prologue i have succeeded in using it. and in every battle it can work,  but how on the hell can't it work now?!!!
help me please.....

that can be a reason, but that kid tell me to follow him, and i did so, and there's obviously a thin wall, where the kid stops. and otherside of the wall is another cave. and there is an entrance back to the ground. i think there is no other possibility....

i can't see no photo. but you are right. Alvin runs to a thin wall in the cave. try to talk to him again when he is standing there.
if you are still in a combat area you should be able to choose Aard (1) and cast a sign against the wall. do you have enough endurance to do so ?

Apparently for some people this gets bugged, possibly due to the order in which they finish quests in Act 1. It can be fixed by reloading a game some time earlier and trying again.

I have the same bug at first !!!
BUT I FIXED IT !!

When you take the quest of someone ask you to go to the cave and retrieve his companion's body, pls DON'T go to the temple and bury it before you go to the hideout. Otherwise Alvin will appear at that area and NOT in the cave.
I solved it by retrieving the save game earlier and do the hideout first before burying the body. IT WORKS !!

hope it can help you

You can also bury the body before you tell the reverend to make everyone to stay inside their homes.
