For those of you having trouble with the Wreath of Immortelles; where Celina just took it and remained in the fields and nothing happened, you should try convicting Adam by telling Julian that he killed Celina and not cover up for him  ;) that worked for me in the second playthrough and Celina disappeared into the ground with a flash of light just like Alina

It doesn't matter if u tell him or not....if u crown her either way she disappearee into the ground with a flash of light as Alina did....it's the same thing.....

and for me she didin't disapear in anyway :) she was crowned, thanked and walked from that hill...

Yes u are right she thanks you and walks away, but if u follow her u will see that she goes to the exact place that Alina enters the ground, on the strawberry bushes hill, and she does the same thing...

What Divine One and others have said is correct; the Wreath does work. The Lady of the Lake verifies it when you visit her after finishing this Quest if you choose the dialog:  "M'Lady, do you approve?"

The Lady answers: "You sent a troubled soul into the beyond...
You revealed Alina to herself with a song...
You slew the bloody divinity Dagon...
And brought the races together in peace. I am content.

So Geralt apparently told Julian a white lie when he said he couldn't help Celina.

So the quest is only half-broken? Too bad it's the part that actually acknowledges its completion. What happens in the Epilogue, on the Icy Plains? In my game, Celina appeared as a Nightwraith and sounded bitter, talking about murders and how it's difficult not to act on one's feelings. She was uncrowned. I suppose that, were the quest not bugged, she would have had a different appearance and attitude.

It's certainly not surprising that Celina wasn't a happy spirit; she did kill her sister. Indeed, the Lady said, "You sent a troubled soul into the beyond..."  Geralt did, nevertheless, end Celina's suffering in the fields.

So Celina didn't end up as a happy spirit -- well, this is The Witcher.

This whole "wreath of immotelles" for Celina recognition fixed in EE at all?  Still in Act III at moment and was wondering.  Noticed that the conversation with Thaler in the Inn Act III was fixed from that broken "Are they all safe" thingy.

I think it's the same as it ever was --

If you give the wreath to Celina immediately after Alina disappears into a blue cloud of magic, Celina will walk to the same spot and disappear into her own blue cloud. Celina doesn't walk the fields at night, after that. Nevertheless, Geralt still tells Julian he couldn't do anything for Celina.

When you visit the Lady afterwards, if you ask "M'lady, do you approve?", she answers, "You sent a troubled soul into the beyond..., You revealed Alina to herself with a song..."

In "Frozen Reflections" at the end, Celina still views herself as a murderer.

Was it broken? Is it fixed? Probably its just one of those, The Witcher gray choices... The player can select a different reward in lieu of the wreath.

Yep, I second what JustMe said -- the wreath of immortelles does the same thing it always did.  Either what happened is what the devs wanted to happen, or they forgot to fix it.  I was sad -- I was really hoping to have the game acknowledge the freeing of Celina this time around.  Yes, Celina was full of bile and bitterness.  But she didn't intentionally kill Alina, and being a nightwraith for all eternity seems like an awfully high price for envy -- one of the most common of human sins.

Think you´re right. This time i chose the wreath of immotelles and had to detect that this Quest isn`t fixed in the EE.  :-\
Next game i will take the hut. Celina will be released by the Sword. ]:->

Well, I chose the hut(useless) last time and ended up having to kill Celina cause she attacked me after conversation with her saying I was Lying and didn't care. :o All in all from what everyone else is saying, I don't believe dialogue is any different for Geralt no matter which way this plays out. Geralt will always say Celina couldn't be helped. But, at my end game, Celina didn't show up.

I don't think anyone is saying that you can't give her the wreath and that she is not pleased when you do -- it's just that there is not entry in your journal saying you did (no quest update) and no one acknowledges that she has been "released" by the wreath. Also, the only conversation option (at least before EE -- just gettting to it now in my run) was to say that "nothing could be done to save her" which is blatantly wrong

Ah, I see. There are a couple other places as well where it seems that plans were cut short. I did notice (the first time when I was trying to figure out how to finish the quest and saw it listed as already finished and then had the endless loop problem) that the quest is listed as done before it IS done, and that there is no follow-up entry for Celina. I also got information from the Hermit AFTER the quest was done, but not before. Ah well, some things are bound to be missed. Still, a sign of appreciation would be nice. [And WHAT is the problem with their father? Sleeps in Celina's house! *ewwww* Doesn't even mention his daughters except to say one thing about the marriage and isn't Julian great!]

Cheers!

tobias is pretty weird :) -- but (and i'm not sure if i just missed this many, many times, or if it is new to EE) now he does have a conversation option to be told that both his daughters are dead and he mourns (briefly -- until you leave Celina's house and come back -- that's where he was when i found him, it probably works the same if he is at his "office")

After someone (peasant or Inn Keeper) said Tobias has a big house, but he sleeps in another big house and I found out that rather than having an affair he's at Celina's at night ... I limited my contact with him. Perhaps that's why I missed the dialog? Ah well.

To be honest I never did like Julian. He turned out to be OK, though I never got the diamond from him. I was probably doing something out of order. Although OK may be stretching it, after all, he knew there was a problem with Celina and instead of dealing with it he just blew her off ... and he opted for the 'kill-them-all' approach to the Vodyanoi. Upset his emotions and he hides, threaten his wallet and he attacks. Hmmm ... I'm back to not liking him.

I liked Act IV mostly because the people were more polite. The Sidney Greenstreet voice for the wedding guests just made me laugh, especially the one who liked the lady Inn Keeper. You just know she gave him a heaping plate of food at no extra charge. Of course, you also know she's a snob and stiffs the employees; that poor old woman tending the chickens, geese and plants, and the sore-backed wood cutter. Polite and courteous bigots.  :wall:

I'm beginning to think Geralt should start his own Kingdom.

You can report to Julian that you've released her and hear his gratitude if you download this fix:
