There's something wonderful about the way that young kittens and puppies fall asleep. The way that it just happens, regardless of how busy they were at the time.

What I find amazing and touching is how so many mammal babies trust us unconditionally, to the point where their lives could depend on us. They'll eat what you feed them, they'll follow you around... and still there are people that abuse and mistreat them. Bastards!

If only people were more like puppies, instead of making war we would hang out sniffing each other :P

Ummm, thanks V., that's quite figurative :P

I really can't handle the sauce like I used to, only now coming around from last nights session, work was bloody torture.
I was once asked by a journalist what my thoughts were on the modern world slipping into ignorance and apathy, I told him, "I don't know and I don't fucking care!"

Oh dear. Yes. There was a sad story here just a few days ago: an intern at a big cat sanctuary was killed by a lion. The usual story, too, an attack out of the blue by a previously docile cat against a keeper he knew well.

I recently visited a rescue center where they had, among other things, young felines. They rescued this ocelot from someone who had found the baby and smacked it in the head with a heavy object, causing brain damage. The ocelot was therefore extremely awkward and timid, which also required handling with extreme care. This one time one of the keepers, a man with years of experience, got in the cage to feed the ocelot, but something (a loud noise or something like that) scared him and he bit the keeper's hand or forearm, and would not let go. Eventually they managed to take it off his arm without killing the ocelot, but since then the keeper moved to a different location. The ocelot remains there, sitting in his corner.

If I were chauvinistic, I'd say in this neck of the woods, we have dozens of variations on the theme of sweetened egg custards and they all put Catalana to shame :harhar:/> But to get back on topic, let me just reiterate that MP does not interest me and that, like some have said, it might divert precious resources from SP.

Crema Catalana?

One can do so much better in the field of sweetened egg custards.

I'd like to keep the joke... but what's the matter with the Crema Catalana, me and you? I mean, where I've said that la crema catalans és la única i exlusiva dels catalans? I'm confused... :question:/>

Weird, you replied to a post from another thread here at the Hairy Bear. Let's all chill and have a crema catalana :P

From my own experience that could be a stomach ulcer - try some antacids, from the experience of girls I know who have given birth it could be an internal Hemorrhoid pressing against the stomach. Coeliac disease is also possible but hereditary. I'm not a doctor but I would recommend you visit one ASAP, at least they will perform a blood test for anything more serious - I believe that is standard practice.

If they tell you its Irritable Bowel Syndrome, go to another doctor !
