Earthquakes - Hugs, SC, that must have been scary. I hope everything is OK near the epicentre.

Hug and thanks

Soundtrack - I'm hoping that the teaser is an indicator of what we'll get, even though it may be a false hope. DX:HR managed to give us a good soundtrack though. Which reminds me - time to play Icarus again.

I'm praying for grunge and some melodic rock (something in the middle of Lacuna Coil and Darling Violetta).
Okay, now I may seem a bit obsessed with it.... bu Vtm- Bloodlines in fact had an interesting and well sorted soundtracks.

Unfortunately, circumstances that I can't control force me not to stay too much in this place. And especially, be back to moderation actively. For now at least. But I always enjoy a fine chat here :flower:

It's kind of funny, in the 'Off-Topic' section of the Cyberpunk forums, there's almost in every thread the word "Cyberpunk" ...

So much for Off-Topicness xD

Just like in The Witcher's board Community section you rarely see a topic that is not about alcohol, sex or profanity.

OK just kidding :P
Facio, Voco, Ferre.

PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!

I thought that when you name P:T in one of the thread, people would either flame you or scratch head. Probably the latter.

And dogpics! :D
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

What a darling cat; what a beautiful coat she has.

(The Maine Coon, which is of hotly disputed origin, may just possibly be a descendant of Northern Forest Cats that came over as early as the Viking expeditions. They are certainly similar.)

So what did these forest cats do for the Vikings? I've seen a few of them here..they are enormous.

They're cats. Why would they do anything for anyone? They probably just sneaked on-board the boats when no-one was looking, then sat around looking cute while the Vikings went oooh and awwww and gave them fresh fish.

(Oh, and then they probably helped to keep down the populations of rats and ceiling gremlins)

But talking of Vikings and cats reminds me - "How to Train Your Dragon". My favourite Dreamworks film ever. Toothless was so obviously based on the average black cat.

Because, like any domesticated animal, the may have been bred for a purpose.

Pulling chariots ;)/> Freyja is often depicted riding in a chariot drawn by cats.

Her hall is Sesrúmnir, and it is large and beautiful. When she goes abroad, she drives in a wagon drawn by two cats. She lends a favorable ear to men who call upon her, and it is from her name that the title has come that noble women are called freyjur ("lady"). Love-poetry she likes well, and it is good to call on her in love affairs.
[Prose Edda]

Seriously, the usual reason cats like to hang out with people: their food storage attracts such tasty vermin. The Norse would present cats to brides and take cats on sea voyages. One of the many theories of the origin of the Maine Coon cat is that they are descended from feral cats left behind after the Viking expeditions to North America.

Forest cats are so large and regal that early naturalists tried to classify them as a species of lynx.

Anyway, any discussion on the reason that cats were domesticates starts from a dubious premise, that HUMANS domesticated CATS. If your starting point is that CATS domesticated HUMANS, it all makes a lot more sense.

Well cats were worshiped as gods, so does it surprised anyone?

Of course this is a fallacy since I said in the past tense which would imply they are no longer worshiped today.

That is a very wrong assumption.

That is indeed a very wrong assumption, Mimi (my cat) won't even eat until I bring the food to her... Wakes me up in the middle of the night because she wants attention, lays down wherever she wants,.. Oh but how much I love her :P

On another subject I'm just about to tell Xsplit support to go fuck themselves. I get it that a lot of guys in support ask the same questions over and over again, but for one guy to ask me the same question over four times when I gave the same answer every time is too bloody much.
