Off topic section included. Reading a few and it's like "we don't give a shit to other genre or games. Cyberpunk rules period." Odd point of view, imho. ›››

Someone should make a "they don't make enough fantasy games" thread. The reaction would be hilarious.

What really bothers me are the music threads. In the future, everyone apparently only likes cold, synthy, reverb-y music that runs the gamut from Blade Runner-esque to "leaving a vibrator on a drying machine." I can appreciate that kind of stuff, but it's just so predictable and safe as far as cyberpunk music goes. Drives me crazy.
I'm not here anymore, but there are still three ways to find me. First, you can go into a room with all the lights off and say my number three times while looking into a mirror. A bit macabre, admittedly. The second way would be to post a craigslist ad for anonymous sex, but don't be writing checks you can't cash, sweet stuff. Ahem. The third and most tasteful method would be to just check out my site where I review stuff because I'm a hyper-judgmental human being.

That's what make real life future really interesting to me. I mean: we can imagine any sorts of shit and it'll turn out that we'll still have Lady Gaga, Shakira, Britney Spears and My chemical romance....... or we will still appreciate the Queen, Led Zeppelin and ACDC lol

(I'll do for sure)

But I'm still wondering how 227 knows what a vibrator on a drying machine sounds like.

Don't judge. My dryer was giving up the ghost and wouldn't heat up anymore, so I had to... help heat things up.

Totally random: I've been playing through the original KOTOR recently, and just today came across a Limp Bizkit joke. Game's been out since 2003 and I never noticed this before.

Curses on this board! I wanted to give you a +42 just for the mention of AC/DC, my favourite band :)

Has much happened in here lately btw? I've had my head deep in Civilization IV lately. What a wonderfully addictive game :ice:

I'm glad to see you here again ^_^

The funny thing about the witcher boards is that even when we argue we still get along. Maybe the Cyberpunk boards will reach that point in a few years.

And I also wonder about the music. Nobody makes wooden or metal instruments anymore? Did all symphonic orchestras and their instruments die in a cataclysm? How come there is a rockstar-esque role in CP2020 but I haven't heard any rock songs? Is there no sunlight in the future?

Oh and gregski, didn't realize you were a mod at the cyberpunk forums. Cool! Maybe we should start a Linux gaming thread there? ]:->

Is everything OK? 4.8 isn't too strong, but I'm sure it caught you off guard!

4.8's enough to rattle your nerves pretty good. I forget whether you have pets; if you do, I hope they got through it without panicking too much.

It's on the news; apparently there is some damage north of Lucca, with phones and power out, and schools have been evacuated. We think we have made progress with earthquake prediction, and then the scientists say this one "came out of nowhere".

Cats were on groundfloor and didn't notice anything. I did coz I normally work and live at the third.

In Garfagnana, on the mountains. Minor damage it seems. Hearing the beams in the ceiling cricking really gave me shivers!

I don't really know why this scientist nonsense still goes on. When I went at school, teachers told us exactly the opposite, that shaking commonly announces before the outbreak. So either our geologists are sleeping or they're lying.

They're lying all right, and it isn't the geologists it's the public figures trying to give people a false sense of security.

I've never been in an earthquake; that sounds really scary, Secondchildren! I'm glad you're okay.

I joined the Cyberpunk forum early to help test it, and they made me blue for that, but I'm NOT moderating over there. Just wanted to disclaim all responsibility for any messes that may arise. :teeth:

Last night it got down to -16 C here (3 F). Damn, that's cold!
Want to be IN a computer game? I'm making one, and I want a picture of you! See here for details.

I've made three new adventures for TW1; you can get them at corylea.com/.

I've also made a bunch of mods that fix bugs, kill annoyances or tweak gameplay; you can get those at the Witcher Nexus.

Working on my Letho video tribute. Takes a lot of work, but I got the hang of it, I think / hope.
Makes me miss TW2 already and I played it only a few weeks ago.
