Hello SC glad to see you found your way back here. About the CP forums, yes it is a different sort of animal over there. Not a whole lot going on there yet but i`m sure in time it`ll be a madhouse. Just like what i`m hoping for here on 5 February. :whistle:

Aw... guys... I love you so much!
Yep, home sweet home :)

@Blothulfur
That's exactly what I mean. Bloodlines character customization is interesting too and comes natural to me to imagine CP2077 in that way, if designed on the original 2020. As Bloodlines is designed and adapted of Vtm. Still wondering if the Devs are thinking the same, tho after watching them mentioning the games where they're getting inspiration from, I'm quite disappointed. Anyway, you never know. Deus Ex is a nice cyberpunk exponent. Would be silly from them to ignore it.

@Tommy
Who knows we'll see. I'll keep my nerdy eye on it (at least to read the news), but my sixth sense is telling me that it'll never ever be like this place. Indeed I'm afraid it might become like a BW forum (yuck!) or worse.... Batman AC forum

I suspect CP 2077 will be more popular than TW3 due to the genre, so you'll get a larger community there. I hope it doesn't become like BSN...

Anyway, no excuses, because CDPR has explicitly asked for our input. So get your butt over there and make some suggestions! We need people with good taste leading the way.

Thank you very much. As I missed that cutie bat :) This affection is truly returned.

Larger doesn't mean nicer :)
That "larger" actually scares me most, that's why I mentioned Batman forum and BSN. But with more adults and less screwing kiddos (I hope). Blizzard forum is another example of horrible place to visit.

'Bout what? the forum or the game? :D
Whatever, I'd like to "test" some people knowledge over there. But all that cyberpunk delirium even in the off topic section is making me a bit sick.
(one reason why I never visit WOD community)

Hello again SecondChildren.

I've been posting at the Cyberpunk forum but it is somewhat overwhelming. As somebody else pointed out, there's on the one hand people who think Cyberpunk 2077 will be an MMO (seriously!?!), others that have no idea what CDPR has done before, others that are hardcore fanboys of Cyberpunk 2020 and expect lots of weird things, and the worst, some who just happen to like cyberpunk in general. And there's of course mixes of all of the above. Way too many things being said at once.

The Witcher forum feels like home. It has a slower pace and feels more relaxed. And we've known CDPR for years :P/>

I am really looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077, but that forum is a bit annoying.

Strange thing happened while (re) playing the first Witcher.

I'm usually very good at monitoring my GPU temperatures, and with TW1 I've been getting 60º C or so. A couple of nights ago I noticed MSI Afterburner showed a top temperature of 75º C, which honestly surprised me for TW1. No big deal. Last night however, I wanted to do something specific playing dice poker and reloaded multiple times, going straight into the dice poker board every time. When I saw the temperatures, in shock I read 90º C!! How is that even possible? I've been playing with everything cranked up as high as it goes, including x16 AA (or AF? whatever). I turned it down to x8 just in case. So tonight while playing I checked my temps and everything was normal, i.e. around the 60's. But then I played dice poker again (normal sessions), and it showed a peak of 75º C.

It seems TW1's dice poker heats up my GPU. Any idea why?

I've found TW1 to be screwy in its use of the GPU, too. It goes to 100% in 2D modes. Specifically when playing dice poker; I just checked it. That accounts for some of the strange thermal behavior.

Well it's bound to happen when you make a game based off a license with millions of fans in a genre which has even more fans.

I really hope CDPR is NOT listening to the things said on that forum.

Yeah, the CP forum...and I get to moderate that mess! ;)

But seriously, I come here to cool off and relax and let my eyeballs fit back in after they pop out from reading some of the stuff there...I wonder if it will be possible to make that place feel like "home" to anyone, just like it is here...or it's always gonna feel like a "safehouse", where the boosters can come, take down your door and make your life a mess ;)

Just like Slimgrin said, we need more people with good taste and reason out there! ;)

I'm going crazy - I'm sure I posted this about 10 minutes ago.

Anyway, we've just opened a new bar at CP. Drinks are on the house.

Though nothing compared to the coziness of the Hairy Bear!

Oh no, never said this :) I like cyberpunk too, just seems a mess there. I mean... I'm kinda unease that people there seems a bit close minded and can talk about cyberpunk "only" in every single post. Off topic section included. Reading a few and it's like "we don't give a shit to other genre or games. Cyberpunk rules period." Odd point of view, imho.

Yep I've noticed this too.
I quite despise MMOs never played that,but then a friend of mine suggested me Star Trek Online (free on Steam) so I tried. Now I can tell that I totally despise MMOs. It's all "if you're not in my friends list neither in my chatrooms or my fleet, I can kick your ass. And I'll do it with pleasure since you're 20 lvl lower than me" No matter if you're an ally or not. Fleets are the worst: they all act like one organism, brainless bots. It's awkward after a while. Eventually I ended up playing in solo.

Hey you! I'm ok now. Bit busy with job. It's been theurapethic staying away from moderation and the forum in general. Sometimes our work is a bit overstressing and you have the feeling that troll sickness starts to contaminate your blood too. Now I'm totally relaxed and I'm appreciating this place even more :)

Well, you're a wonderful person and one of the finest members here. No doubt you'll do a great job in the Afterlife and takes a few witcherism there too. I'll try to stop there time to time. Don't hope for much, until the situation will turn a little at least. Who knows, probably after that the game realising madness will go away, there will be sort of natural selection. It happened here twice so... well be strong, fella!
:cheers:

Oh even among MMOs Star Trek is considered one of the worst pieces of shit ever made, so really bad game to get as your first MMO.
