[ACT I] Did I Miss Somthing?

Is it just me or is the the transition from prologue to chapter missing something?

You mean the abruptness? As in one minute you're with a group of witchers making your way in different directions, the next you're thrown in a village being attacked by nasty dogs?
Yeh, I know what you mean, the jump from one bit to the next DID seem kinda large. Maybe just a little run from the castle (starting area) to the outskirts of Vizima - to show your journey a bit more - would have been nice.
Still, it's a bit of a nitpick really isn't it?

Nothing missing, really.. Like said in the ending movie of the prologue, everyone sets off in a different direction to search for clues for the Salamanders. Geralt is on his way to Vizima to check if the Salamanders are active there, and ends up in the outskirts of Vizima, unable to get into it cause of the plague.

The review on IGN is what convinced me to buy the game and that is one thing they warned me about. I did not find it too bad, the one thing that could have made it better is if they showed a over view of the camp with something on screen saying "Outpost XXXX, Vizima Outskirts" so I would have imeditaly thought "ok, so I got to the city already"

You're not playing the demo are you?!!  They really take out A LOT of content in the prologue in the demo.
