All we are saying, is give peas a chance. Yes all we are saying, is give peas a chance.

If only those were for real... And as for mysterious/weird things, take another load from Russia with love!

I mean I understand we have to be skeptical at all times, but I'm just wondering: COULD this story about the Chinese child perhaps be true? ›››
Skeptical for the win! After all, it is "made in China"!

Sorry I phrased my previous question poorly.
I get why we should be skeptical (Chinese media and all), but I was wondering, could this perhaps (from a medical standpoint) be true? Is there a possibility that this is true, or is this 100% certainly fake?

What will the Alien Man on the History Channel say about this??

I am surprised this is the first time we hear about this, especially if its true, scientists should be all over this kid. Locals think he is special just because he has blue eyes.
Perhaps his parents were living or working in the dark for a long time. That's why he can't see clearly in day time. Or some great great grandfather was from the west.

Until we've concluded evidence on whether this story is actually bollocks or the sort of condition this person is having all other speculations are redundant and there's no need to generalize a entire country for being full of shit.
If you want to discuss the plausibility on an objective level then discuss the likelihood of conditions causing this effect, evolution or just overall if you find the video funny or unlikely but shots directed solely because it was shown/found in a certain country is generalization and is extremely tacky seeing the garbage our media promotes.
Regarding the video itself, it follows the same style as many other media productions with questionable legitimacy in an effort to gain PR/attention but this is true for every country and will probably be revealed as a certain condition over anything else.

Would be cool if the story was true, but alas, I doubt it.
