up vote and down vote bug(?)
29.07.2013 @ 18:32 #1
i dont know if i am the only one that have this problem (and if so this post could be deleted)
but the minus button says "up vote", and the plus button says "down vote".
i know its something minor, but i don't want to accidentally to down vote someone,so can it be fixed?
(oh and if only i have this problem can someone help me solve it?)

Nice catch op, I'm sure it'll be fixed. Probably not though. There's still issues with changing one's avatar so I doubt this'll get any attention. Still, nice to know I suppose. I think pressing + still upvotes a post though. I've pressed it rather recently and it does its intended job.

Mixes up my world-view is minus now plus or vice versa...
Edit: Oh and while we are at it why is the right arrow on the Killingmonsters page previous week? I think they want to confuse me...
Maybe they took too much of a liking to Fliparse

This, on the other hand, is something that bothers me each and every time I visit the page. It's just against the very basic principles of ergonomics/human engineering (as is the placement of the +/- buttons for up-/down-votes) and unnecessarily confusing.

Is that so? I thought that those actually are switched.

No, + is "up" and - is "down". Only mouseover descriptions are wrong.

No downvoting has been mentioned as a highly desirable feature (unfeature?) for the next edition of the forums.

I upvoted your post because I agree with you so much
But yes, I totally agree - it would be good if they got rid of this.

Also known and reported a long time ago .
Look at the bright side though . It gives you a change to learn some foreign language words .
