If you only want to play mods (the only mod currently available is a demo for Lykaon), then download the gamers edition.
If you want to do your own adventures, mods, etc. with Redkit, download the modders edition.

Gamers' edition just allows you to play mods, if you want to create stuff, you have to install the modders' edition.

You can also watch the video tutorials of Klabautermann (in the Redkit wiki and forum). He answers questions for beginners in there.

Doomed are those who take lunacy for prophecy, and carcasses for holy arses.
Screw Roche! I am a Nilfgaardian dog, and proud of it.
Only the dead can keep a secret. I promise to reveal every last detail as soon as your body is cold.

I think the requirements line means "including 64-bit". It would be strange to include XP otherwise, since there are few 64-bit XP users.
I got it working on a 32-bit OS, first try. But no 32-bit CPU (the last 32-bit x86-compatible was the rock-bottom "Diamondville" Atom) has anything like the power to run it.

Dark gray? Yea, that's how the render window looks, my first thought was, wth, video card overheating or doesn't support something. Make sure you load everything from the right tab, then move around with WASD.

Relocate your Documents folder to the other HDD. This is a good idea if you are using your SSD for Windows anyway.
See http://en.thewitcher...ndpost&p=973034 for the details.
Per-user stuff goes under your Documents folder or other folders in your profile, not to arbitrary folders. That's a Windows best practice, and you can't fault CDPR for adhering to it />

say you want to replace geralt's armor with some other mesh in the game, is it a matter of simply putting it in the proper folder and compiling it or is there some special tool for it? i can't seem to get it to work.

You might want to ask these types of questions across in the REDKit forum itself - it may get lost in this thread.

I just re-installed TW2EE(GOG version) and patch it from 3.1 to 3.3, then installed Redkit as the instruction said, but when i started the Redkit, a problem came: anyone could help?
