I suspect there's a little of the BSN in all of us. Loved the image.

Between the time when the Aen Seidhe ruled all and the rise of the white frost, there was an age undreamed of. When the shit and pissed filled cities of man spread their thighs across the world, glittering in the night like the cheap jewellery of whores in a brothel. Unto this age came Geralt, a Rivian of titanic mirths and melancholies, destined to bear the twin swords of the witcher in unquiet scabbards. Fear and lust were heaped upon his name, and his deeds became as legend. Eventually the ring of prince Albert was pressed upon him, and he did take the Empire of Nilfgaard to rule as his own, with heavy heart and iron hand.

It is I Dandelion, his chronicler, who alone can recount his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure.
I was once asked by a journalist what my thoughts were on the modern world slipping into ignorance and apathy, I told him, "I don't know and I don't fucking care!"

I like it too. My sarcasm failed I guess. That image would ignite the entire BSN on fire.

Haha! Awesome pic!

It's actually a really beautiful picture. A bit frightening though :P Much kudos to the drawer/painter. Badass stuff!

Geralt the Barbarian. My thoughts exactly ;)/>

There would be no politics...only Geralt's word, his iron fist..........and a harem, that is essential

By the way, it just hit me. I thought I recognized the pose, set up, overall framing of the picture from somewhere. And here it is.

Posted Image

Sprinkled with influences from various other places too, ofc. Ah maybe I'm just full of shit but I was thinking about a picture I'd seen before, just couldn't really remember what picture it was.

Actually when I come to think of it, that pose etc isn't really all that special. Not that's not special, just that it's a common theme for covers to games, shows, etc. Humbug!

You know what, I have no idea what I'm talking about. I think I need food, I'm getting a bit light-headed over here!

White Wolf journal. October 12th, 1273:

Dog carcass in alley this morning, wagon wheel tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"

...

...and I'll whisper "no."

Oooh, I remember that one, it was painted for an official contest back in 2008 :) You might want to check deviantArt or Wishroom if you want more of this type of fanart. Please credit original artists whenenver you can, that painting is by Diogosaito. It's not an ending I would expect or want from this series, though.

@Hic
Since it's been a full page about the picture already, please open a new topic and elaborate on your idea a bit more.
