i have TW1 on steam and i got a key but i can patch to 1.5 because it says it "cannot identify the installed version" and i dont know were to input my CD key anyways.

The Steam version is already at 1.5 so you don`t need to patch at all . You get this "cannot identify the installed version" whenever you try to patch to the 1.5 when the game is already at 1.5 . Since this forum launched in 2011 there is no need or requirement to register your game . About the only reason for the cd-key is for the backup copy from GOG
