Thanks dude, gotta try that Remove Dark Mode Visual Effects mod.
The prices are okay and it would feel really rewarding finally getting that set after all that effort but that annoying Visual Effect just makes the game annoying as hell

Well . . . I never craft those dark weapons. I'd prefer using only the Dark Armor (Gauntlet, boots and trouser included).
beside, normal weapons of act 3 are much better that those of king-slayer outfit. ›››

Yeah i would have definitely done that if not for the mod.
The mod works great btw.

Yeah I know what you mean mate. On my first playthrough (was playing Dark mode. I live on the edge man!
) I created the Act 2 dark armour, I think it's called the Oathbreaker. Absolutely wonderful armour. It looks fantastic. Unfortunately the swords added that shitty effect and meant that I wasted a lot of money and mats on two items I had no interest in. Shame. So yeah, I hope RED avoids that shit in the future. It adds nothing to the game, quite the contrary, it only distracts.
Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

Everybody hates the visual effect of dark level outfits =P
Well, not me. For my third playthrough it was actually funny to have all that Dark-Mode equipment/visual/audio stuff because it added some weird and slight-annoying component to the game, especially in darker scenarios. But maybe that's because I like to do weird things in games after some playthroughs XD
Still, I understand the upset of the people towards Dark Mode equipment, it's really invasive to your screen, orens and materials with no real reason XD

guys. i have the EE patched up to 3.2
i did got the files with name"stats" in the mid and put in to the correct folder structure.
but it seems these files removed the blaspheme swards altogether. so i put a underscore to the begin of both files. i really like to get rid of this annoying effect and have the original bonus or the +health thing. pls help me to get this right.
the file i got is "No Dark Mode Effects - with extra bonus - EE-221-2-1.zip"
thanks

What do you mean "removed the blaspheme swards altogether"? Do you mean that the swords disappear from you inventory?
(Edit: When you reply, can you also let me know if you have any other mods installed?)

Yes, that's the correct file and it should be compatible. I last checked it on EE (3.0), but as far as I'm aware, there haven't been any structure changes since then. I'll check them again now just to be sure.

Delete the "items" subfolder completely, which will revert you back to the vanilla version, then check your savegame again. If the swords did disappear as a result of the mod, this would bring them back.
I could see why a file corruption may remove one set of swords, but for both steel and silver swords to disappear would need ALL of the files to be corrupted. Did you get them from The Nexus, or somewhere else?
Anyway, this is my own copy, if you want to try them.

I picked up the Nexus version yesterday to make sure it was OK. It sounds as though they were corrupted somehow when you downloaded them. Anyway, glad it's fixed.
And yes, if you install all four files (the base sword files and the stats files) you get a +1 vitality regen. The "dark mode" bonus is lost when you use the mod, so this is intended to compensate. If you think it makes them over-powerful, just delete the two stat files and only use the base files.

The base files remove the AV effect, the stats files add the vitality regen. I've no idea if it stacks with Melitele's Heart - I've never actually played it with the regen.
