I loved Sim City 2000 back in the mid 90's. What's so embarrassing about it?

PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!

amazing game! it´ll have to wait till i finish the witcher 2, hooo, what a great game, i've been waiting so much time to play it (my pc was a complete crap) and now that i can, well, its a really good game, well, not-as-good-as-1st, but still much better than a lot of "AAA" games

That's a great game. I bought it quite some time ago, and it was fun to play it again. Still a good game too, although of course graphically it's somewhat dated. I don't like to play with disasters though. Could never manage to put out fires for example, and don't want that happening every 2 seconds due to planes crashing all over the place. Building an airport on a hill helped, but it was still bad if I recall correctly. Very fun game, just wish the map was even larger.
