Hi everybody,
I'm having issues with the game, as you can see in the picture it seems it doesn't load textures properly and it happens whenever i change the graphic settings manually. As i'm using the steam version of the game i tried verifying the game cache, i also did a couple of reinstall too but nothing changed.
Here are my specs :
OS : windows seven pro x64.
CPU : core i5 3570k.
GPU : GTX 660 TI.
RAM : 16 Go.
All drivers up to date.

Thanks for your help :)

In keeping with another issue just posted, try putting your settings to low.

In Nvidia control panel make sure that you are not over riding any settings . Set everything possible to application controlled . Click apply when finished .

Hi there!
I actually managed to fix it thx to a twik i found in a forum. I had to edit the User.ini file in the C:\Users\username\Documents\Witcher 2\config\ folder over the [Rendering] section
with this values :
[Rendering]
TextureDownscale=0
AtlasTextureDownscale=0
DetailTextureDownscale=0
MaxTextureSize=2048
MaxAtlasTextureSize=4096
TextureMemoryBudget=400
TextureTimeBudget=10
MaxCubeShadowSize=2048
MaxCubeShadowCount=3
MaxSpotShadowSize=2048
MaxSpotShadowCount=3
FoliageDistanceScale=1.0
MeshDistanceScale=1.0
CharacterLodGameplayDownscale=0
AllowBloom=1
AllowShafts=1
AllowAntialias=1
AllowBlur=1
AllowDOF=1
AllowDecals=1.0
AllowVignette=1
AllowSharpen=1
AllowRain=1
AllowSSAO=1
AllowMotionBlur=1
AllowScatterDOF=1
AllowCutsceneDOF=1
DanglesLimiter=0
ShadowQuality=3
ShadowedLights=3
Fullscreen=1
VSync=1
UberSampling=2

then after editing it i right clicked the ini file then Properties->read only to be sure that the game won't overwrite it, and that's all, now it's wirking just fine:)

Was about to make my own post about this very same problem. Tried what artek3000 did and it worked. Seems kinda odd that this is whats causing the problems. Time to tweek the settings around a bit.

Keep in mind that the suggested User.ini settings set the spec to Ultra which will be very harsh on some GPUs. While I don't have a repro for this issue I imagine that once it occurs it would be enough to make sure that these 3 are set to 0:
TextureDownscale=0
AtlasTextureDownscale=0
DetailTextureDownscale=0

And to avoid a major FPS drop set Ubersampling to 0:
UberSampling=0
Pelottava Pohjoisen Noita
