As a big fan of TW2 and open world games I'm super excited about TW3 :D/>!

One of my biggest issues with TW2 was the somewhat clumsy gamepad implementaion. Choosing powers through a menu wheel was too fiddly imo and disrupted the combat flow. I hope TW3 can learn from Arkham City and implement quick access for all powers (a trigger + facebutton). At least the five standard powers and throwing knives should just be a button tap away. This would greatly enhance flow and control of combat.

Thanks for the awesome work, Cheers!

I used the gamepad as well, and I didn't think any thing was clumsy. I liked TW2 gamepad configuration.

So how can "click-hold stick-click" (like in TW2) be better/less clumsy than simply "click" (like in Arkham City)? To me the latter system is obviously better.

I wouldn't call it clumsy because it worked effortlessly in my experience. But it is slower than the Arkham method. If it helps players for whom this was clumsy or slow, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to speed up sign change in TW3.

Going through a menu is clearly slower for everyone, not just some players as you make it sound like :). I mean it's technically impossible to do three inputs faster than one.

Actually, when you know where each sign is located on the wheel, it's just a matter of pointing the stick in the right direction after the trigger button.

But like I said, if it helps speed up the process for everyone, then who cares.

If it helps to speed up the process for everyone then I care, because it means improved and smoother gameplay :)!

+1

Especially since the devs stated that this time round, they want to make ALL signs useful so players can't just spam quen (and aard).
