Changes to Terms of Service & Privacy Policy ??
11.03.2013 @ 23:43 #1
Hi
I have not been an active member; not playing the game at the moment; but eager to soon.
Anyway got an email in my spam box about "Changes to our Terms of Service & Privacy Policy";
with some links in it.
Just wondering is this legit or phishing spam.
Has there been a change to the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy?
Thanks

Hi guys,
Thanks for letting us know that you've received our newsletter:)
We are constantly improving our services and in order to be intact with worldwide regulations regarding data processing we needed to make some adjustments to our Privacy Policy. These changes won't have a direct impact on your visits (as a matter of fact, these rules are the sames as the ones we've had on Cyberpunk.net since its launch). It's been a while since we refreshed these rules on thewitcher.com, and with the new website and forums coming, it was only right to update those regulations:)

Hi,
I read the rules and didn't see anything outstanding or new. I also didn't see where we were to "accept" the updated rules to be able to continue as a registered user. So I'll keep checking in (commenting occassionally) for updates on the upcoming W3 and Cyberpumk.
Cheers

So what exactly has changed? Mr. Developer is pretty vague about it. Should I be concerned? ›››
I think they only adjust Their Terms of Service & Privacy Policy more properly to laws in order to be Prevent that everything about CP2077 and TW3: HW in forums and websites not cause legal problems with users.
Digital bureaucratic technicalities, nothing toxic nor contagious...

Yeah, we understand as much but we’re wondering what is different about these ToS compared to the previous ones (not why they are different) :>

New sites, new forums, new registrarions, new trade marks.... that make them change the original ToS by another more completed. They responsability as owner of all of this is inform to their registered users about these changes, even if these changes doesn't affect directlly to them/us.
Nothing changes about users but we must be informed of any change about our contract with CDPR.
