I can imagine Geraltdisarmed and improvising a defense with a short sword or dagger and a piece of wood only to buy time and gain a decent sword nearby. Just as a BIG exception ... but not in the game.
Still, I find it hard to see Geralt with 4 swords on his back; or would they be 6 swords, two silver short swords plus two-handed one and two steel short swords plus two-handed one?

Show me Brian Lara hitting for 375 one-handed, or Derek Jeter getting 216 hits one-handed, and I'll reconsider whether Geralt should keep both hands on his sword. Unless you're Miyamoto Musashi, dual wielding is a gimmick. The fact that opponents use it is just for show. ›››
I share your thoughts as well.

I wouldn't mind having an option for dual wielding. I'm curious to see what RED would come up with. If it'll detract too many resources then fuck it. I'd rather have them tweak and refine the standard one sword gameplay than tacking on a shitty dual wielding system.
