Can someone please help explain how to properly use the power-ups I unlocked with Brawl/Fistfighting during a fistfight?
I've actually been doing just fine on the fistfighting quests, but once I hit Chapter IV and had an abundance of Bronze Talents, I figured I may as well unlock the talents to make it even easier for me. BIG MISTAKE. Now I can't even beat the easiest fistfighter because I can't hit them at all! All I see is a weird pink diamond filling up but my punches never land. I've tried clicking everywhere and at different intervals, but nothing is connecting! To be clear, it's not a difficulty thing. I'm just challenging very easy fistfighters to practice and it's just an endless stalemate because they can't make a dent on me and I can't hit them.
I even tried going to a save game editor to remove the two talents, but the pink bar won't go away. So, since I can't undo this choice , is there a way to use the powerups that I'm missing?
Any help would be appreciated!

There were power-ups in TW1’s fist fights? ›››
Yes; there's a talent you need to unlock them. "Brawl", at Level 2 Strength. Not that easy to use, because you often get hit while you're powering up.
I find "Fistfight" (at Level 2 Dexterity) more useful, but it doesn't give the power up.
