I got bored today, reinstalled witcher 1, put my savegame, and compared all journal entries with the one's in witcher wiki. And i have a question, is there a way to put some journal entries now with some hack ?
This is what i'm missing
Potions
-fisstech
-perfume
Oils
-specter oil
Beasts
-dagon worshipper
-midday bride
Bosses
-hellhound
-witchman
Special Ingredients
-skullhead talons
-trace of the beyond
-vapors of the hunt ??
Well, i think there is some bugs here. First i already have some fisstech now in my inventory, used one, and still not god the entry.Second, i searches about Dagon worshipper, and says that he has the ability to heal himself, i can clearly remember encountering 2 Dagon worshipper's killed them, and i don't got the entry. Third, the hellhound, i clearly killed him in Chapter 1, why i don't have the entry in the journal ?
Witchman, what is that ?
That skullhead talons, i watched some youtube vids, and the creatures did appear in the ice map in the game. And the trace of the beyond from the hellhound, i clearly looted that item, and made the potion and drank it, so why i don't have the item in the journal?
Vapors of the hunt, really no idea, sucked here. I remember i encounter the wild hunt in act 4, but i wasn't able to kill him, only some ghosts if i remember, and in the epilogue, i don't remember to pick some loot.
Ok, there is some hack to add those into my current save game ?
ssssssssssssssss

It's quite a long time since I've played Witcher 1, so keep that in mind in case I'm not making much sense. Journal entries in bestiary, there should be two way to get them. One, upgrade a skill in inteligence part of the skilltree, so Geralt would remember information about the creatures he had already met, or read the books you can find or buy from vendors. If you have the skill or you've read the books and you still don't have corespondent journal entries, then I don't know. It's the same with the ingredients, read the books and you should get journal entry when first encountred. About the Vapors of the Hunt, you can loot them in the Ice Plains, if you choose to fight the King of the Wild Hunt, but you need to kill him as far from Jacques de Aldersberg's corpse as possible. If you are too close, you won't exit the fighting stance and won'b able to loot the Wild Hunt's King's corpse.

You need to make sure you've actually found and read the corresponding books. I'll try to list what I can glean from the Wiki. There's no "hack" to get journal entries, as far as I know, but you could always use a save game editor to cheat the necessary items into your inventory for most of them at least.
Fisstech
You should get this by simply consuming Fisstech. You write that you've done so, in which case I'm not sure what went wrong. It should
Perfume
The book Ars Amandi, normally found in the Trade Quarter, Chapter III.
Specter Oil
Abigail (Chapter I and maybe Chapter IV) sells the recipe.
Dagon Worshipper
No idea if there's a book for this one. Kill one may be enough, normally. Otherwise the A Description of the Vodyanoi or the Fishpeople book might hold an unlisted entry for these, as it deals with all other Vodyanoi- and Dagon-related things.
Midday Bride
No idea if there's a book for this one. Killing her may be enough.
Hellhound
Berengar's Notes on the Beast, which you get from Abigail (Chapter I), is a quest item so make sure you look through those, in case you missed reading it.
Witchman
The Physiologus book, which can be obtained from an unnamed man in the Trade Quarter (Chapter III).
Skullhead Talons
The Double Cross of Alzur book can be bought from Julian (Chapter IV) or found in Kalkstein's Laboratory (Chapter II and possibly Chapter III) in a crate.
Trace of the Beyond
Berengar's Notes on the Beast, which you get from Abigail (Chapter I), is a quest item so make sure you look through those, in case you missed reading it.
Vapors of the Hunt
Tricky to get. You must kill the King of the Wild Hunt during the end of the Epilogue, but you must do so while far enough away from de Aldersberg so that you are able to get out of combat, and thus be able to loot the King's corpse. You'll find the Vapors of the Hunt and its journal entry will be added.

So you say i could put that items in my journal with a save game editor ? Where to download, and how to use it ?
EDIT: Ok, seems i had missed 2 quest-related letters to read. I read Berengar's Letter and gave the the last journal notes about Berengar.
And the letter about The Legend Of Saint Gregory, which gave me Bosses-Hellhound journal entry, and special ingredients Trace Of The Beyond.
I was clearly remember using that item trace of the beyond and making that talent potion.
So now how to use a savegame editor, to add the last entries that remained ?
EDIT: About the potion Perfume, i remember buying and reading all the merchants books in the entire game, and i used the show objects names option in the game menu to have in-game all items pooping-up.
Also, my savegame number 495 is saved right where you talk to Dandelion and the final cutscene poops up, and the other savegames i deleted them long ago.
