Hey folks,

I have an issue that I was hoping to trouble shoot with people. I have a boxed version of the game that I bought shortly after it was released (love the game). I recently reinstalled the game. When I went to download the patches they never went past 20-60kb/s. Even the individual patching on the support page the 200mb files would take 1hour and 45min to download again averaging between 20-60kb/s. Same for the gog.com game as well.

I have troubleshot my end, drivers, computer firewalls, ports, called ISP, etc. I can download everything else at my normal speeds I have 20mb down and 5 up. So 200mb files should take roughly a minute which every where I download this is the case except when I download the Witcher 2 things. I am currently up-to-date as I downloaded the files at work and flash drived the patches to my computer. However, I want to trouble shoot this problem in case future patches are released.

Has anyone experienced this issue, I have seen some folks from steam comment about download speeds but I don't use steam for the game so that doesn't relate to me. I cant seem to figure out what the problem is. Anyone please help!

Which browser ? I currently use Chrome with no ill effects in download speed . With GOG did you use the GOG downloader .

I tried with both IE and Firefox - same results. also tried laptop and desktop for both. GOG downloader as well. It really is the weirdest thing.

Could be something with the servers . If you can try either tomorrow or the next day to see if things improve .
