You might want to change "CD-Action Review" to "CD-Action Preview" ;)

However, we love complicated, multilayered stories and our old players will feel like they’re at home once they see what we have prepared. We are doing our best to link everything together in a way that won't make new players lost but still bring a smile to the faces of our old fans.

So yes, one of our goals is to make combat accessible, but that doesn't always mean easy. We know that our players are mature, demand the highest quality and love to be challenged. We will definitely deliver what they want. Be warned – button mashing won't take you anywhere.

Reading through it just now, seems like nothing special apart from a couple of screenshots. Will update once I'm done with it.

Alright, so it's basically a description of the demo that the guys from CD Action saw. A few things worth noting:

"Hold down the spell button to sustain its effect."

"It's a sensible moment to deploy Geralt's 'Witcher sense'. It's a new passive ability - not dissimilar to Batman: Arkham City's detective mode - designed to present Geralt's monster hunting expertise as an environmental overlay. When activated, this vision mode adds blue highlights to clues at the scene of a monster attack. Geralt comments aloud as he spots each one, mentally piecing together the series of events that must have precluded the gruesome scene.

In this case, he observes blood splatter, and then notes a body speared on a splintered tree trunk nearby. "Lifted, and then dropped," he murmurs. The imagined scene plays out in the environment. A blue spectre appears, is lifted off his feet, struggles against an unseen airborne assailant, and is thrown violently onto the spike. This particular investigation is part of a long, involved story mission, but Geralt can use the same technique to hunt monsters the world over. These side missions will be his primary source of income. For the first time in the series, we'll earn a wage doing proper Witcher work."

"In The Witcher 2, the repercussions of your choices dramatically shaped its three insular acts. Badowski suggests that consequences in The Witcher 3 will be more localised, but just as significant. Geralt will cross the battle lines of the burgeoning war often during his travels, and Badowski hints that entire towns could be razed, or saved, depending on Geralt's actions. Over the course of the 80-hour adventure, your choices will build towards one of three different endings."

"But there's so much more to see. The snowy Nordic environments of the Skellige islands will draw justifiable comparisons to Skyrim, but that's just a portion of The Witcher 3's world. There are haunted badlands brimming with creatures inspired by Slavic folk tales. There's a huge city called Novigrad, packed with enough assassins and scheming politicians to fill a Game of Thrones novel."

And, finally, the only somewhat decently sized screenshot:

So it's preview rather than interview? Just checking which section to put it in...

I've read the article too.
That screen looks awful. Is Geralt suffering from bulimia now?
They really should uphold a moratorium on old renderer screens from now on.

There are a couple of smallish screenshots worth posting though. Mostly new angles of the same scenes; and then there's that boat...

Yea, they're so small though, not sure if it's worth posting them. And as you said, they're mostly of things we've already seen at different angles.

I think you should post all of them.

Thanks for going through the trouble mate!

I think its crucial that when Geralt talks to himself while using the batman vision, he doesn't make the clues too obvious.
