I have FX-6100 overclock to 4400MHz, Radeon 6970, 24GBram PC3-12800, Intel SSD 80GB, PSU Corsair TX650
In steress-testing, unigine heaven, 3dmark 2006-2011-2013 my system shown results as the others same systems.
CPU NOT overheating, T~55-60 degrees of Celcius

In the chapter3 in merchants quarter FPS is low down to 20-25FPS
On the old system Q9550*3600 + GTX260 fps in in the chapter3 in merchants quarter was 20-25FPS to.

Max setting at 1920*1080p
Version TW1 1.4 and 1.5

Yes i can down the settings, but TW1 is very beauty game and dont want to do this

I know that TW1 uses only 1 thread of CPU, and one core load at 100% by process witcher.exe
GPU load at 45-65%

Patch for bulldozer already setup, nothig changes

So is my questions:
1. Is AMD FX-6100 so slowest?
2. How to setup TW1 right?
3. What CPU are powerfull enought? i7-3770k?

That's actualy pretty weird. What was FPS during earlier chapters in the game? Your computer should be able to run Witcher 2 without much problem on Ultra without ubersampling. Witcher 1 is an old game and it runs smoothly on much worse computers.

Don't really know much about AMD CPU's, but it shouldn't make any difference, Witcher 1 worked just fine on my Core 2 Duo 3,0 GHz so I don't see why it should cause problems here.

1.Have you tried reinstalling the game?
2.Do you have all patches for the game? Mainly Enhanced Edition.
3. Do you have proper drivers for all your hardware? Mainly for graphics card?

In general, in 1080p on max settings, performance of the Witcher 1 in almost any location shouldn't drop below 60 FPS on your computer.

Trade Quarter performance bothers just about everybody. There's just too much going on to handle expeditiously in a single thread, From the point of view of "what will the game use", your GPU's improved, but your CPU is not an improvement, especially when the game constrains it to a single core.

Licence TW1 + patch 1.5
In early chapters fps about 50-60fps, but with much fire drop to 30fps
Same problem on TW1EE

TW2 runs more better, 35fps is minimum

1. yep, no results
2. yep
3. yep, WHQL catalyst 13.1. Drivers changing from 11.4 to 13.1, nothing changes

I knew it.
FX-6100 is perfect for multithreading, such as videoconverting, or SmoothVideo Project it works as 1.5x expensive i5
But in singlethreaded is it worst?
Other users with AMD/Intel have the same fpsdrops in trade quarter?

Yes the trade quarter plagues just about everyone with low FPS drops . I run a GTX560 Ti and can just barely to maintain low 20`s in the trade quarter at 1600 x 900 . The area is HUGE with a lot of NPC`s and there is quite a lot going on as well .

I would start with anything below 1920 x 1080 until you get most of the trade quarter done .
