Hi all,

I downloaded the game through Steam and I've been unable to play it because it lags too much. No matter what I do, it's awful.

I'm wondering if I meet the minimum specs. Can you please help me?

I have a 27 inches Imac.

Mac OSX 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard)
3.2 GHz Intel Core i3 (processor)
4 Go 1333 Mhz DDR 3 (memory)
ATI Radeon HD 5670 (video card)
2560 x 1440 (resolution)

THX.

Everything else is fine, but the resolution is a horrible match for that poor little 5670. It doesn't meet the minimum requirement for the game, but it is not so deficient that it won't play -- but the native resolution overwhelms it.

I've run the game on a 5670 and Core i3 (PC). It plays well at 1280x720, but poorly at 1920x1080; I shudder to think how it would do at 2560x1440. Performance depends rather closely on how many pixels you have to push, and 2560x1440 is four times as many pixels as 1280x720.

Can you play at reduced resolution (preferably 1280x720)? You should be able to get medium to high settings if you do.

Hmmmm...It looks like you can. The specs look similar to mine, BUT I am on a PC and I am not sure how much difference (if any) that would make:Windows 72.3 GHz Intel i56 GB RAMATI Radeon HD 5450However, with these specs I play on the lowest setting on 800x480 resolution. No, its no beauty queen but really its not too bad, though you might want to set the object render distance to max. Foliage and people materializing and ambushing me out of thin air does drive me nuts.Though I am willing to bet you will be able to play on a higher resolution than me :D

I've tried two other browers, but I cannot seem to edit my post. For the record, I have 2.27 GHz and an i5 processor. Posted Image
