Inventory menu taking too long to load

How do i fix this ? It takes 20-15 seconds , making looting frustrating

Defragging your hard drive might help . Can you list your system specs .

Intel Dual core e5300 2.7 ghz
9500 GT
4 Gb ram

Game itself is okay , i get 40-50 fps though opening inventory takes too long

Rarely but sometimes inventory menu opens instantly , after i exit and play for some reason

I have the Enchanced version by the way

If memory serves the 9500 came in 3 different configurations of vram . 256 , 512 , and 1 GB . If you`re running the 256 MB that would be DDR2 which is somewhat slower . Have you tried in windowed mode to see if the inventory opens any faster .

I have 1gb one,

Windowed mode didnt work

I`m assuming here of course. But when looting is this after a fight with a monster of either species and is the red ring around the medallion in the upper left of screen gone when you loot ? If i`m off base here just say yay or nay .

EDIT : What screen resolution are you playing at ? If full HD then try lowering the resolution .

Im at 1280x720 , went to 800x600 still same

Everytime i try open my inventory, takes too long

Try making an exception in your antivirus program for the witcher just in case that real time scanning is affecting it .

Don`t think that would cause the issue you`re describing . Have you ran a malware scan recently ?

It may or may not be malware . But it`s always a good idea to be sure . At least it would be one more thing to rule out . Either one of these does an outstanding job .
