Hi guys! I have a weird problem with my backup saves for Witcher 2 EE, Steam Edition. Sorry for my english, i'm italian, i hope you can help me.
So, i have a i5 3750k CPU, radeon 7970 1ghz edition, 8 gb ram, the game run perfectly smooth. I was playing first act, but just before going to kill Kayran, i had to format HD and reinstall win7 (64bit). So i did a backup of my saved games, formatted, and reinstalled Steam. My Steam games are in a secondary partition, so i just added the old game library to Steam and Witcher 2 was there, working perfectly. So, we are speaking of the exact same game, no reinstallation. I copied backup save in the witcher 2 folder, but they don't work, when i open load menu in Witcher 2 they don't appear, there is nothing. My save are in the Program Files\Steam\userdata\(Your Steam ID)\20920 folder, because at first i used Steam Cloud, then i deactivated it because it gave me problems but the game kept putting savegames there. Then, I tried to put them in the documents/witcher 2/savegame folder, but it's the same, the game doesn't recognize them. So, same game, same folder, why my savegames are not working? Thank you...

There are a couple of things you can try . Enable cloud saving for a little while then disable it again . Close the game and go to your
Documents>Witcher 2>Config and right click User and select Edit and change the following to
[FileSystem]
CloudStorage=False
Then click File and save .

It worked!! The game keeps saving in cloud folder even if i disabled cloud, but now my older games are all there! I love you guys, thank you very much!!
