PM Strange how we started talking about consoles. Still getting PS4 wouldn't work well cause from time to time I like to tear my PC apart and then put everything back

If:
1) You don't play RTS games like Total War, Star Craft etc.
2) You don't want to invest in high end PC (so you won't see any difference in graphics anyway).
3) You don't mind playing on pad instead of m&k.
4) You don't care about mods.
Then I would buy PS4 instead of new PC.

Add to that computer RPG's, like Wasteland 2, Project: Eternity, Torment: Tides of Numenera, etc.
And about graphics... I don't know. Even if they use the same textures and models for the PC version, you can at least run in higher resolutions and better FPS, even if the game looks the same in pictures.
And finally, personal computers have used the same architecture for years, and retro-gaming is extremely easy and straightforward, especially with DOSBox and/or fan patches.

PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!
