Hello guys!

I've been searching around for about an hour now and can't find anything that helps me with my problem.

Whenever I try to load a saved game it crashes to desktop almost instantly. I am in Floatsam in the game, if that is to any help. I use the gog.com EE version. The only one I have ever used, no strange mods or anything installed. Just straight up clean install.

My PC specs are;

Windows 8 64 bit
16GB RAM
~700GB free disc space
2x GeForce 480 GTX

It ran so smoothly yesterday... And today when I want to pick up from where I saved it just crashes. :(

I had a similar problem when the game first came out. I fixed it by updating Windows. Go to Windows Update and install all "Important updates".

If the problem You're having is the one I had, then it should fix it.

Could it be that your savegames are broken? Try starting a new game, or reload a previous savegame.

I did not solve it, for I did nothing, but it is fixed. o.0

I tried to start a new game and that worked, so then I just loaded my saved game... Kinda weird. I did nothing else.

Now it crashes just after I pass the fog. You know when to cutscene at the dead corpse comes. It crashes during. Driving me mad.
