I have read the walkthroughs and other tips on defeating the Kayran but I'm still stuck. I have cut off the four legs and gotten on the swinging leg, I filled the yellow bar but never gotten an indication of when to press SPACEBAR and he keeps dropping me at the same place. I have also run all over looking four the ramp to climb but there is no open area, can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to finish this quest? Thanks in advance.

I never see a the "Spacebar" icon either, I just give it a two count after I have filled the QTE bar. The ramp you are looking for is a piece of the bridge that Kayran has knocked down. It's not the easist thing to climb, but you can get to the top of it.

You only get the spacebar if you have Difficult QTE turned on, so you may not be seeing that. When you land, don't move around much, you should see the final collapse of the bridge to Geralt's left a few seconds later. After the bridge collapses, you can run up it.

I watched a gameplay clip on another site and realized about the bridge breaking loose to make the ramp and it show the spacebar light up,but when I try it I never get that icon and I even tried the 1,2 count after filling the bar and no change.I have honestly tried for five minutes (until the potions wear off) and ridden the arm at least six times during that and I cannot progress,is there anything else that may help?

I take it that you're on PC?

If you feel that you're still stuck after seeing the videos, you're welcome to upload the savegame from immediately before the fight to a hosting site such as mediafire, and post the link here. Someone can play it through for you and return the savegame.

There are some PC configurations that have problems with the QTE on this fight, but once you're past it the game should be OK. But if you prefer to keep on trying it yourself, you may also want to try reducing the graphics and/or resolution for now to see if that helps.

I do the 2 count and then hit the spacebar regardless of whether or not it lights up. The function will still work.

For me, I was stuck here until I dropped my resolution down. My system I thought was decent but TW2 taxes it some .

Can you upload it to a hosting site like mediafire? Someone may be OK with handling it through email, but there are more likely to be responses if you do it that way.
