Everyone who was watching yesterday presentation saw CD PROJEKT RED logo on a screen with all other studios , who will make games for ps4. What do you think, will be there Witcher 2 for PS4, or just Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk. Do you think they will go back, to remake witcher for consoles? Future ps4 owners, who already played witchers, would you buy again those games for ps4? I'd like to add, that rewriting those games for ps4 shouldn't be so complicated, becouse of ps4 hardware architecture, which probably is simillar to PCs one (or at least procesors), if I'm not mistacen. Cheers

No I wouldn't. I'm playing on PC. That's where my saves are. Besides, I won't buy the games *again*. I love RED and I love the Witcher games, but I already have them. There are other things I need to buy. You know, like food and fucking school books for university.
Tearing my hair out, trying to figure out why there aren't any non-human Witchers, or at least something equivalent to a Witcher oriented warrior.

Same here. If a game, like God of War, gets to be an exclusive, then I might. Since The Witcher saga is a PC exclusive giving a port to the consoles, no, I'll stick with PC.
Besides, I need the money for some IRL upgrades. A very few selected people here know about what's going on in my life.

Porting a then 6+ years old game is a waste of time. Even if the PS4 will develop some die hard Witcher fans who would like to get into the previous installments, the large majority will not. I could imagine a port of TW2 because the story is related at least to some extent, if it really isn't that complicated to do - after all, all the requirements for a console game are already there with the X360 version. But I don't believe it will happen - CDPR said they were finished with TW2, now. And definitely not TW1, which would require design of new gamepad-adapted controls, a new user interface, etc. It's a ton of work for a game that's too old to be of interest to the mainstream market - and it doesn't really add much to the overall story arc.

Well, porting TW2 to PS4 supposed to be easy, so maybe we will see it on PS4. It would certainly make users of Playstation more interested in buying TW3.
I wouldn't buy it tho, because I use console only to play exclusives.

If you see a grammar mistake in my post, then I don't mind if you send me a notice about it via PM. I always want to improve my English grammar.

No, while I may play TW2 with a gamepad, they're PC games at heart. I'll be grabbing it from GOG on the PC, although if I get a PS4, I could see me picking up a second copy at some point, especially if there's an awesome special edition...

Most of us here play on the computer, so this is pointless. You should probably ask whether future PS4 owners who have not played The Witcher would buy rereleases, although the chance of this happening is minimal.
Facio, Voco, Ferre.
PC does not equal Windows. Personal computers run many different operating systems, like GNU/Linux and, why not, Windows. PC games should be available for all major platforms. Let's not be handcuffed and tied to one vendor. Utilize standard, cross-platform technologies!

The question pretty much boils down to "would you blindly buy a theoretical port of games you've probably already played for a system that little is actually known about, all for an unknown price?"
I'd say that most sane individuals who don't have access to Batman-ish reserves of cash would initially say no, with whether they end up with the system or that theoretical port almost entirely dependent on a number of those details. This doesn't exactly strike me as the "blindly buy things solely on the name" crowd.

I'm not here anymore, but there are still three ways to find me. First, you can go into a room with all the lights off and say my number three times while looking into a mirror. A bit macabre, admittedly. The second way would be to post a craigslist ad for anonymous sex, but don't be writing checks you can't cash, sweet stuff. Ahem. The third and most tasteful method would be to just check out my site where I review stuff because I'm a hyper-judgmental human being.
